    Meet Alternatrs Dragstrip.

    Meet Universe Sandstorm.

    Meet Universe Whirl.

Besides, who says I don't have contacts? Not everybody who has them openly boasts about the latest tidbit they just learned, mind you.

3 toys wrongly identified out of how many unveiled over the years?

    Alternators Ironhide

And we're not talking about a toy that has a clearly identifiable head sculpt from which the robot's identity can easily be deduced. We're talking about a new movie-style design that shows no major traits of previous toys.

Name one single toy we hadn't heard about before and which has no clear design cues from previous toys representing the same character whose identity was correctly guessed by a proto seller.

I don't need to prove that proto sellers are unable to identify toys correctly. You need to prove that they are ABLE to.

Your 4 examples are not proving anything.

You still haven't provided a single example of a proto seller correctly identifying a toy's name he couldn't have guessed without contacts.

I have provided four examples to back up my assertion. How many examples do you have to back up yours?

Animated Starscream. Seller said Starscream, fans said Thundercracker because of the colors, but it was Starscream. Also, there's not only one seller out there selling stolen samples. Some guys like yizhi don't really know what they're dealing with, but others do. And they probably know more than you do since they get the stuff directly from the assembly line where more than likely every project is given a name, as opposed to you sitting in front of your computer in Germany, miles and miles away from there. So, it's up to you to prove them wrong, not the other way around. Dozens and dozens of prototypes have been correctly identified over the past few years, regardless of how they look.

Hasbro unveiled Animated Starscream at San Diego Comic-Con 2007. He was already blue then. That was before the first auction popped up. Sorry, no prize behind door number three.

    Anyone here want popcorn?

Doesn't change the fact that dozens and dozens of prototypes have been correctly identified over the past few years, regardless of how they look. Chances are very high that they're right.

"So my example was wrong, but all the million other examples I can't be bothered to name are totally right, whereas all the examples you listed mean nothing!"

Out of curiosity, do you play bingo? :)

    Stop it and hug everyone.

And to add fuel to the fire, this figure's vehicle mode looks similar to Micromaster Detour from the Sports Car Patrol team.

Unless the person poaching these figures off the assembly line has access to the packaging info, then they are just guessing.

Nearly all if not all leaked Movie, Animated and Universe prototypes have been correctly identified by the sellers so far.

That's why I would kinda like Detour better. If it's not Detour, you can bet it'll be repainted yellow with the proper name sooner than later.

Mind you that Yizhi only referred to it as Dead End because fans were already referring to it as Dead End out of speculation.
He is also still convinced that Universe Ravage's name is "dog".
If the figure isn't Detour though, i'll definately repaint it into Detour.

Not speculation, Peaugh got the info straight from the seller, and that seller is not Yizhi.
