I don't have the Beachcomber or Dirtboss mold, so I'll probably buy the 2 pack with the Home Depot repaint.

Sold on both of these. Got every Scout since Cybertron (yeah, even off the wall stuff like Hightail), no reason to stop now!

Is it REALLY so bad that some of us would rather go "LOL NECROTIC GUM ULCERS!" when we see the name? Was there anyone out there who loved that toy but going to pass now that they know the name? (or be more likely to get it now because lol gum disease?) :D

Personally, I'd like to know how many name candidates were rejected before that got used.

These two-pack Scouts don't get individual bios, only the couple of sentences each in that single paragraph.

The primary gimmick of NEST figures are that their bios establish rivalries with other characters.

    Also?

We've already seen both sonar and wide load in package. They are individual releases

Decepticons wise, I think Deadlift looks nice with how the Orange/Gray look together while I like how the red/dark colors look on Trenchmouth.

(I guess Deadlift's lifts are deadly, Ha Ha Ha.)

will get both sets, but sell the dead end repaint and the forklift. Just want the Beachcomber and red Knock out. So, will the Red Baron Ransack be in a two pack or seperately.

Im glad that beachcomber and spoons are packed together as they are the only ones in this assortment I want. Not to mention this'll probably be cheaper then buying scouts individually, unless they are store exclusive.

Wow they really have named a Transformer everything, Greaser, well I would agree with you based ont he Orange and flames, but the plastic on the new ROTF Slapdash looks pretty much exactly the color of the legends Wheelie.

Also, the "skin" if it was black I would agree but it looks alot more like Wheelie.

Does anyone know when these are supposed to be out in 2010?

I need the Beachcomber to go with my legends Beachcomber.

Also, he looks alot more G1 then anyother scout so far.

Trenchmouth? That's a pretty bad name, but still a cool toy. Road Rocket could've worked just as well, but I think Road Rocket was an Autobot, and Hasbro has a thing about not giving Autobot names to Decepticons. Oh well.

I like the other names though. Pretty clever. Deadlift? Unexpected, but it does sound cooler than "Spoons".

Jolt and Mudflap were given to Decepticon toys from the first movie. Hasbro tends to keep names to a specific faction if the characters are popular enough, though.

I don't really think Trenchmouth is bad as a name. It beats those names that seem to be picked out of a fixed pool of words (night, scream, beat, star, sun, storm, dark, wind, wing, claw, jet, fire).

They could've gone with Decepticon SporkTM :(

Sweet, by the sound of things it shouldn't be too hard picking up a loose Deadlift on eBay, he's the only one I want. Slapdash looks nice but the funky head ruins it, so I might as well grab a Legends Wheelie (which being an Aussie I missed out on) down the line instead.
Bet Australia won't get these two sets either.:(

Trench mouth looks to be WWI slang for the disease. It's thus got a military origin, so I'm perfectly fine with it. :)  Just the association with 'Trench' brings up a lot of things...damp, dark, filthy, long slogging combat...

    WWI is so underappreciated.
