Hi guys, I have a question.
I was at my local toys r us looking for prime soundwave (sadly the prime line hasn't even been released there yet.) and to my huge suprise they still had the rotf toyline there and bought scorponok.
    Is this happening anywhere else?

Old stock appears everywhere. Sometimes it's new to the store because venders sell it to em at a good price, other times people return shit, and then there's always stock that people find burred in the back.

I just purchased Mech Tech Jolt for $10.99 at TRU... and ROTF figures were more expensive.

WTH is up with that? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

^Because TRU is notorious for leaving prices at full retail for YEARS after a toy would normally be put on clearance at regular stores.

yeah i still see rotf Scorponoks quite often here.

Recently someone i know found a misb movie leader Brawl at retail price alongside with Dotm leaders. Now that was lucky of him!

Shouldn't Jolt have been more than Scorpy?

I've seen no RoTF shelfwarmers at my TRU's. Lucky me, I suppose.

But your a good person for taking in that poor, hungry, and cold shelfwarming Stalker Scorponok.

It's kinda common. I like seeing the old stock. I got myself a Rodimus Minor back in September!

    ...I'm a girl. :sly2:

BTW, on my shelf, they are the main event, not "shelfwarmers".

I wish they'd put out some god damn NEST toys here. I want Lockdown!

Edit: What Sideways77 mean was that Stalker Scorponok was shelfwarming at the STORE, not on your shelf at home. When someone calls a toy a "shelfwarmer", it means it has been sitting on the shelves for ages, usually in copious amounts.

That mold is actually really cool though. I have the original Scorpy. He is kinda cute for a murderous robot scorpion. XD

The MSRP (and, presumably, the retailer cost) for Revenge of the Fallen was HIGHER than Dark of the Moon. IE, Scorponok cost TRU more to purchase than Jolt

Well for what its worth, the Kelowna Zellers probably still has some of that ROTF/NEST shit, but Lockdown's not among em (or at least wasn't the last time I was there).

My local TRU still has several ROTF Ravages on the pegs. Last summer I found a Movie 1 Arcee there too. I bought it but haven't opened it yet.
