    Hello everyone!

I ran a search, but couldn't find if this was posted before. Please accept my apologies if this information was already known.

A UK website named Jedi News has put up a scan advertising the British Toy Fair! Included in the article are details about Transformers ROTF RPMs!

Here is a link to the site and their article:
Jedi News :: A Star Wars News Site For UK Fans By UK Fans || More Big Vehicles on the way....

Here is a link to the actual article scan:
    http://www.jedinews.co.uk/downloads/tf2009hasbropreview150109.jpg

Here is the exact text from the article:

"Transformers and Star Wars will also feature in new vehicle ranges - as well as two Transformers R/C, RPMS are Robot-Powered Machines, cars with robots moulded onto the bottom, sold in two-packs there will also be a trackset."

So, this reveals just what exactly the strange toy of the corvette is! I've attached the picture we got of it, for those who haven't seen it before.

I'm so excited and I just can't hide it!
I'm about to lose control and I think I like it!

    Ok, not really,
but I wonder if they're just going to do the cars?

Hmm. You know, I knew they would make this kind of toy car. I just knew it.

First Ultimate Bumblebee's remold, now this... Maybe I should dread the ice cream truck twins, I really wanna see THAT come out as a toy. :D

I doubt bandai will allow hasbro to use the name 'rpm'.
Hasbro will have to come up with another name here in U.S.

I imagine that one of the remote control toys will be a 1:1 scale version of the one seen on the movie set that may be an actual transformer.

I bought a R/C Starscream at Radio Shack from the first TF's. I wonder if thats what they are. They also had TF's X-Mods and Zip-Zaps.

When we saw that photo we assumed they were rotf burger king or mcdonalds promo cars.

Movie licensed hot wheels?! Go to your walmart's* many after christmas toy clearance aisles right now and your sure to find a stack of speed racer die cast cars among other speed figures and racing helmets. What a
    market flop that was.

    This could just be retailers finding something extra to fill pegs when the deluxes scramble out of control again;
admittedly I'd probably buy these when we hit a dry toy period.

Edit: I realize with most plastic bottom hot wheels size cars there is a gimmick to justify it. Personally I would like a mechanism where the car automatically stands up. But I imagine the Robot powered machines system may have something faster in mind. Interesting to think about though.

Isn't there a rumor of Wheelie being a R/C car in the movie going around?

i don't know if i like the movie hot wheel clones myself. the picture from a while back was weird looking. i'd much prefer movie spychangers. new spychanger molds would rock.

i think the gravity bots have magnets on the bottom of them and on a display stand so that the bot just floats there. they could do that in the package and make hundreds off them

Yup just like the last movie, unless they transform at at least the deluxe size. I finally bought the Radio Shack Bumblebee (non-transformable x-mod) after it went on clearance for like $20 instead of $50. They also had the crappy transformable ones that were spychanger size
    ditto

    "Robot Powered Machines"

...Does that seem like kind of a redundant title to anyone else, or is it just me?

While I can say this doesn't really appeal to me, if they make a Beater BB vs. Barricade set I might just buy it. Especialy if they make a powered-booster racetrack set for it where they can literaly crash through walls and stuff and swerve all over the place while they chase each other.
