In TF1 robot replicas they used modified Revoltech articulations, but this time all using normal articulations.

Robot Replicas Prime still looks as awful as it did first time around, in terms of sculpt, materials and finish. Ironhide looks fairly accurate tho, and the Starscream one doesn't look bad either. I'm sure both will require being properly painted, however.

RR Prime from the first movie looks a lot better. I wish I'd have picked up a few more of the TF1 RRs, just for the joints. These don't look like they're using the modular joints, anymore.

I still dont like these things, they should have just given the license to Kaiyodo so they were made under the Revoltech banner, now those would have been sweet!

I thought the first RR Prime was actually a fun toy. It was a good, decently articulated mold. This one looks inferior pretty much in every way, so I'm finding it hard to see the point of it. Ironhide does look good though.

Ironhide's nice, but is it just me, or does RR Prime look kind of drunk? I think it's the sloping posture, slightly unbalanced look and half-closed eyes.

    "Frrreedom isha right uvaaall...shentien....zzzzzzzzz...." :drunk

Prime looks wrong BECAUSE his upper -inner- torso is assembled backwards.

So unless you can remove his left and right outer torso parts and swap them, you're screwed and stuck with an incorrectly assembled figure.

I've noticed Prime is assembled wrong as well.

I may get both and SS, but all will require paint.
