This is how I will be remembering Movie Megatron. Maybe the FAB too just for the tank. Looks Awesome.

The murder arm on this guy is just entirely too long. It looks like a tail, like Beast Wars Megs. The other arm is better though. If only we could combine the best aspects of all the new Megs, we'd have a must buy!

I smell an ROTF Megatron-themed display in my future. Thus far, I'm getting the leader class despite the disappointing tank mode, to go along with ROTF leader Prime and the legends-class because the tank mode is :bay :. This robotic replicas version is awesome enough to warrant a purchase at some point and I just love this Megatron design too much to resist.

The smaller-sized and non-transforming figures need less turnaround time to produce than a leader class figure because they're generally less complex. So they were probably based on the later concept art/CGI model where the arms are more equally-sized compared to the earlier concept art.

    Not really.

Robot replica arm is just as small, the only difference is that it got awfully long and molded together clay fingers.

I like it. The paint job is better than the first robot replica (my only real issue with that toy), and I like that the left arm isn't a gimp arm like the Leader. I'll still buy both anyways.

At least the left arm isn't as gimpy and the Leader fig, but I'm still passing on the RRs this time around.

So much better than the leader class... How can that pass quality control (leader class). How come toys release by other companies like those who made the armor for classis ultra magnus are way better than those of Hasbro's? Is Hasbro loosing its "mojo"? I'm not a toy maker an engineer and it doesn't take one to know what crappy means.

Ultra Magnus' armor isn't hindered by many budget issues and doesn't follow a extremely detailed movie model.

Also, I believe you really don't know what Quality Control means do you? It's to check the quality of the toy units itself (joints, paint, assembly etc.), not the design.

Similar situation to movie Devastator : Hasbro can't get the actual transforming character right, so the only classes in which they do get the likeness right are the non transforming & the small size classes.
