There were actually multiple waves of G1 Robot Heroes before TFTM Robot Heroes ever hit the shelves.

I'm sure you saw the new Movie Preview. Anything even making an attempt at sucking up and anihilating one of the "fugly" twins automatically has my vote for "Hero" status.

Hasbro better do some backpeddaling after they are done with the movie line and upgrade Unicron, etc. or there may be some very...annoyed RH collectors out there. Myself being one of them.

I LOVE seeing the lengths they go to to give RH figures their "SO HAPPY!" face. The eviler they are, the better.

Favorites: SO HAPPY Galactus, SO HAPPY Ark of the Covenant ghost from Indy. SO HAPPY Devastator is right up there.

    Others I'm forgetting?

Yes, but they came out alongside the movie product. If Robot Heroes had tanked badly for the original movie run, we probably wouldn't've gotten the Universe series ones.

G1 RH hit shelves May 2007. I don't know when the first movie toys hit. I didn't care about much of anything besides the Movie RH!

yeah i think the point was that the g-1 r.h. came first. yes along side the main line of the first movie. g-1 was the forrunner to the movie robot heroes so you "could" say that the movie helped sell em but im sure as hell little timmy didnt know who grimlock, mirage and ravage were when he was buying his first of 3276 versions of movie bumblebee! that said this will be my only movie devs to.

    ro

I love Robot Heroes I have realized they bring me much more joy then some other TF lines, they touched G1,Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Movie universes I have 0 RH movie figures, and I do not think I will get this one.

I was thinking he looked smaller then the large Galactic/Superhero Squad figures. I would love large combiner figures too, but since they have already produced a Predaking that is small and Unicron, I doubt we will see it; the positive is that you could get all the combiners in a smaller space.

I e-mailed Hasbro about the Predaking and future G1 waves after the movie they said they had no future plans for these even after the movies.

I think the only Hero that has been made large and small in any line, is Apocalypse, he had the large version then the one in the newer Wolverine movie stuff.

I've collected almost all the Universe Robot Heroes including Tigatron/Inferno and Ricochet/Predaking. I only do not own Snarl/Sharkticon (Slag/Gnaw). I too had ignored the movie robot heroes as I don't have any real connection to the characters or their designs. But I've started to collect them (have the five pack and all of wave 2 coming in the post of the first movie's RH toys).

Hasbro's response to your e-mail bothers me greatly as G1/BW Robot Heroes were something I enjoyed collecting for a while now. And I enjoyed thinking of possible future waves they could do. I hope Hasbro are wrong. The new movie's Robot Heroes designs look sharp but they lack the familarity I have with the G1 and BW figures.

I wouldn't take that answer for much.

They never share any info with consumers who e-mail.

    They save information for conventions
