Ah, ROTF Ravage. Very cool in the movie, got a very cool figure. And lulz a very bad bad re-entry mode. The alt-mode on this guy means nothing though, the robot mode makes up a lot. Anyway, painted with gun-metal, polished aluminum and gold for details. Not particularly movie accurate, but it turned out so much better than the factory paint xD.

Thanks. Hmm. top-pic is a little blurry. Guess this one's not all that flashy without the LED built in. Such an intricate customization out of my league. . .

don't let it bother you so much - I mostly mod the things I can & gingerly approach the ones I think are out of my league...

And in the case of my Skids chest mod, I surprised myself - that was some seriously intricate stuff for my so far & I plan to improve it if I can...

But hats off to you anyway, b/c the painting is the hard part to do correctly & you made this look like it was never made out of plastic :thumb

The only suggestion I would throw at you would be to remove the purple head-piece & make room to replace the eye with a red LED - even if it's not powered it'll look miles better.

closetrat: I suppose replacing his headpiece is easier than a full-fledged LED-mod. It's given me some ideas even. *Considering*

CrimsonThunder: Wow, you're ecstatic almost, thank you very much!

TCracker: Thanks, it means a lot from (one of the many, though) customizers I look up to and consider way better than me.

actually, just had another thought: if you're not going to replace the eye with a powered LED, it might be smarter & easier to replace it with a round craft jewel (y'know, one that's only half a sphere that comes with adhesive backing?).

Actually, that was the basic idea your original suggestion gave me.
