They have already been spotted in France, but I'm not sure if they have been spotted in the UK anywhere else.

FP London had Soundwave and Bumblebee in at lunchtime.

Not for long though, as I toyed with getting Soundwave, decided against and went downstairs for a couple of minutes, and they'd both gone when I came back up.

Forbidden Planet are a law unto themselves, they shouldn't really be taken as the UK retail release.

Yeah, as Red Leader of Kapow Toys noted recently, he got his shipment of the figures earlier than he was expecting, which means other retailers are likely to have too, and obviously, FP is among them. Whether or not that means mainstream retailers like TRU will break the supposed street-date (end of the month, isn't it?) of the things, however, is another matter.

I think the Preview Wave is set for the 20th May but I think TRU has a deal to release the Preview Wave earlier than other retailers

TRU and Argos should be having the preview wave released on the 15th at midnight and that is now the official date for everyone including us, the rest are following on the 28th - 30th may.

With regard to the embargo on figures, its the wholesalers and not the retail stores which will get in the brown stuff for sending them out early however FP are hasbro UK's biggest 3rd party retailer so they are probably okay to do it. :)

Ohh, that's next weekend! Yay and such! I doubt they'll be doing any crazy big midnight openings to sell two figures, though. :)
