This one I'm especially proud of. Added some details to Leader Prime. Gold and Silver, with a touch of Blue. Oh yeah, and I replaced the green LED with a blue one.

Looks a lot better. But, the elbow thing is blue!! Now my question is , with being able to paint like this, why have you not painted more silver!!!!! I know you got the skills.

I guess you know that you've mistransformed the back?

How the HELL do you change the LED? Do you really have to deconstruct the whole torso?

Because the general consensus is "Taking Leader Prime apart is a pain in the ass" and honestly, the grey plastic doesn't bother me. Really, I just wanted to cover up a few really obvious things that, frankly, Hasbro should have done to begin with.

How is he mistransformed? One of the smokestacks is off, but what else?

    It's really not that hard.
    - Unscrew and remove the head
    - Use a screwdriver or something to GENTLY pry open the neck and remove the LED holder
    - Unscrew the screw in the LED holder
    - Open the LED holder, and cut the wires AT the LED
    - Depending on which size LED you use (3mm or 5mm), you'll either need to go ahead and solder the new one in, or remove a significant amount of the plastic inside the neck and head.
    - Put everything back together
    - Adjust as necessary.

for being mis transformed, he means...
the smokestacks are supposed to be tabbed under the tanks, not over the panels.

Sir, I myself too would like to repaint my ROTF prime, but as a novice/beginner I would like to ask some help and questions ^_^

I'm assuming that you used a traditional method of applying paint with a brush to apply the silver on?? by traditional I meant you did'nt use spray paint or airbrush or other advanced techiniques?? ^_^

I'm refering to the silver on the formerly red part on the foot, parts of the sword, parts of the head? I'm thinking of replacing the whole grey plastic with the silver hehe

    thanks for the reply
