Hey everyone! With Sculpt-bot posting his Optimus Prime with it all shiny looking today, I thought I might as well unveil my recent repaint: ROTF Optimus Prime!

When i started on him, all i did was the Silver apps on his head, chest pieces, swords and truck grill. But after looking at the poster of Prime in my room, i decided to help him have a sort of dirty look. I took some metallic silver and drybrushed it on the remaining areas of Prime. The feet, hands, smokestacks, and legs all where drybrushed, while thin layers of metallic silver was drybrushed on the rest of his parts, resembling a slightly burnt look. I then added the copper tone and blue to some parts of his body.

This was both my first Drybrush style repaint and my first repaint of a Leader class.

    Don't forget to C&C!

Although blurry, it looks good from what I can see. I've been waiting for you to be using drybrushing.

And yay, no more flasher, now focus on the mutha.

The front of the truck should indeed stay full silver, but the actual grill would look nicer drybrushed.

And wadda ya mean it's your first drybrushed figure? What about that Sideswipe?

The blue on the truck doors and feet are too light, try a darker color, other than that it looks good, better than the unpainted for sure.

    UPDATE

Remember that ROTF Sari i made that could turn into a spaceship and A BFG? Well, i made her to be Prime's gun! While she's like a Power Ranger/Super Sentai finisher weapon to deluxe/voyager sized Autobots, she's just a big gun for Prime!
