    SPOLIERS!!!!

So I will start my saying that this comes from a discussion I was privy to regarding some upcoming exclusive artwork for ROTF. Im sure there will be those who claim false but I am just passing this on. Believe it if you choose, my source has yet to let me down and this was regarding licensed artwork approval so...

Soundwave - asked if we could have as truck mode driving in the street - Official reply was - that Soundwave is TOO BIG to fit on earth.?.?.?

What could this mean? Is the Satilite toy we have seen his earth mode and not the cybertronian mode we all thought?? Im not sure.

Megatron - IS DEAD. The toy is just that, a toy. It was hinted that towards the end we might see somethiing but he is DEAD.

Im guessing this means towards the end he might be on his way to being revived for the third movie but he is not in the second movie.

    Let the speculation begin...

Interesting. Though, I guess that would confirm that MB was telling the truth about Megatron... which kind of sucks.

Soundwave is too big to fit on Earth? Eh? That has me puzzled...

The Megatron part I can believe, but the Soundwave part is REALLY suspicious.

Who knows, maybe Unicron got his name changed to Soundwave? [/terrible joke]

    Interesting indeed...

Even still, if that Leader Megatron is nice enough, I'm biting.

Perhaps there's gonna be flashbacks or something?

And re: Soundwave, if he doesn't go to Earth, fine by me. Going off his Alliance #2 appearance, it's not necessary - he's pure BADASS there.

Not sure what to think about the whole Soundwave being too big to fit on Earth thing. Now, this idea isn't really related to that tidbit, but I'm thinking that if he doesn't say..get a truck as an alt mode or whatever, maybe he reformats from the cybertronian satellite to an Earth satellite..or the space station?

Also, glad to hear more confirmation that Megatron isn't returning.

Well, if he's a sattelite, especially a Cybertronian one, he could well be massive. Going off his appearance in Alliance #2, from what I can tell he's probably at LEAST as tall as Starscream. With a LOT of bulk for that matter.

LOL I love that they didn't revive Megatron for this movie. I'm smelling Galvatron in TF3.

Soundwave not coming to earth is okay as long as they explain why and makes sense.

Well, we did hear from even the most early reports that Megatron was in the film but only for a very small portion of it. This seems to fall in line with what we've heard so far.

My thoughts? The Decepticons or The Fallen has something to do with resurrecting Megatron by the end of the movie, setting him up for the third film.

Oh, I can totally see him being massive, but if he's as tall as Starscream (even with more bulk -haven't read the alliance stuff yet... waiting for the trade-) it still seems to me that he'd be able to fit on Earth. That's the part that has me puzzled.

I mean, yeah, he could be a Cybertronian Space Station or something (hence, the comment would make sense), but wouldn't he be huge compared to SS? Especially since Orci has stated many times that they have no intention of introducing mass shifting to the movie-verse (you know, short of the magical McGuffin known as the Allspark). I don't know... if the statement is true it's a tad bit on the puzzling side.

This seems a bit far fetched, unless Soundwave is the size of a moon.

This sucks if true. Either way I can look forward to some new Megatron toys for my collection.

The only problem with the whole idea that seems to stem with Megatron's potential resurrection for the third movie would be that Bay stated that he wanted to make this movie stand alone on it's own and not do the typical thing that middle movies of a trilogy do and set up for the third in the end. Of course... I find it hard to believe everything that the man says... so this could very well be the case.

I am sorry but until this "news" becomes readily available this should not be considered "confirmed" by any means.

Well, if Soundwave is as big as Starscream, there is NO WAY he could be anything smaller than a massive tank as far as ground vehicles go...

That may be what they meant.
