I was wondering if any customizers with a ROTF Long Haul or HFTD Payload could give me some advice. I want to swap ROTF Long Haul's bland clear melee weapons with HFTD Payload's red repaints, but I'm not sure how to go about it.

I think your problem is the pinned hinges connecting the forearms to the blade sheaths(?) blocking access to the third screw that the blades rotate around. I can't see a way to angle a screwdriver in there that doesn't eventually round and damage the screw heads and maybe some plastic if one could even get in. The only thing I can think of is trying one of the pin removal methods below on those hinges to separate the sheaths from the forearms and working from there. There's obviously a spring under tension in each of the blade roots so watch out that you don't loose them when you get the sheaths' halves apart after the hinges and the three screws. One end of each of those coils must anchor onto the sheaths' exterior side truck pieces so look for those to re-anchor them back to after the swaps so the blades will still spring out and hold position appropriately. There will of course also be anchor points for the coils in the blades themselves as well.

I don't know if you've ever removed pins before so if Longhaul is the one you really care about, try to remove Payload's hinge pins first for practice. Since you have to do four hinges between the two figures anyway, might as well start on the one (if there is one) that you're less concerned about.
