Minor/Repaint: ROTF Legends Devastator

    Just finished him up. I worked pretty hard on all of them, making sure their robot, limb, and alt modes look good.

    ...except Mixmaster. His robot mode is beyond help.

    Anyway, tell me what you guys think.

    Looks really good for Legends. Did you just do washes on these?

    Pretty much. Did a little bit of chrome scuffing here and there and added a paint ap or two, but it was mostly just washes.

    Except his face. God I hated painting that face. I spent like half an hour on the thing.

    I think the wash was a bad move. Instead of bringing out the detail, it makes everything so dark I can't tell what's going on in any mode and looks pretty sloppy. The painted details are nice, though, and from what I can tell would look great on their own minus the wash. (Scavenger's my favourite)

    Yeah. I do like how it looks, but I can see where you're coming from. I'll admit the wash was a bit darker than I'd liked it to have been. I'm still a bit inexperienced with washing.

    Thanks for being honest, I really appreciate it. I'll try to use a lighter wash next time.

    This looks really good I just might do something like this on my hftd long haul legends
