I'm actually quite impressed with this figure. It's looks good, transformation is cool, the paint job is great for a toy this small and she's actually to-scale with most of mainline toys.

Funny how the Legends Arcee is actually a better toy than the Deluxe version.

    Pictures to come.

I agree with you on this one 100% - also surprised there's no thread for her yet...

I would love to see this figure actually show up in a toy store in New York. From what I've seen she looks great for a legends figure.

Also, can we have pics ASAP please? That would be greatly appreciated.

From online pictures Legends Arcee looked great.

Then I saw several in person.

It might be different out of the package and being handled, but it doesn't much look like the snazzy hasbro photos. I know those are usually photoshopped but I didn't expect it to be that bad.

Maybe I was being overly critical of a legends figure, but I'd advise you to have a look in the store before you pick one up.

Sorry for the crappy pics - I can't move my huge lamp...

I put Arcee next to ICT Skids on a hunch, & they're just about equal height:

Here you can see her bike mode looks great from one angle...

...while the wrong angle reveals her chest:

I still think it's amazing that they got that design into a legends figure that doesn't look like crap. I will be picking one up for sure. I don't mind that you can see her chest from one side. Being able to see the face or hands in vehicle mode is much more irritating to the eye IMO.

Can her wheels roll in bot or vehicle mode, or is it made so that she can stand but not roll? Also, do you have any of the other Arcees that have been released (like the deluxe or FAB) for some comparison pics? Thanks for the review so far!

The Legends face is so weird though...
(The deluxe has the prettiest fembot face ever...)

Too bad nobody ever TFs her chest right: It is supposed to be tilted up.

No - wasn't really in love with the bike-formers, so went the cheap route with the Legends figure.

The wheels roll decently in bike mode (had to file some of the flashing with an emery board, but no biggie...), but the front fender combines with the rear tire mudflap to become a foot for her to stand on fairly well...

Maybe this pic from seibertron.com will make this clearer:

Plus, from that same article, (from last October), here's a pic of her bike mode:

Those were the snazzy pictures I was talking about.

Sadly, the actual toy looks like this.

Again, I'm probably being overly critical of a legends figure, but I was really disappointed because of online pictures.

Meh, a little paint and she will be fine, methinks.

Like I said, I'm just amazed that they got that design into a decent legends figure. I love the bike sisters, and this will be in scale nicely, plus I have my deluxe if I want to see more detail, so I will be picking her up (probably off ebay).

    Photos, as promised:

She's really to-scale with the mainline toys. Here she is with Sideswipe.

    With FAB Megatron

With Burger King Kids Meal Arcee - in bike mode, they're almost exactly the same size. Legends figure is still definately worth the few extra bucks...

    Transformation:

    Wheels come together and connect.

    Lower section pulls down.

Arms fold down, and the head pops up when the long torso section gets pulled forward. It can then fold like an acordion to give her that movie-accurate look. Her upper-body is connected to her torso via a ball-joint, which gives her some nice poseability for a Legends figure. It's just tricky sometimes to get her to balance right.

    with Legends Devastator

    With some other ROTF Legends

Here she is with Sideswipe again.

Great pics! I'm loving the scale of this thing. Some extra paint wouldn'tve hurt, but it IS a legends figure. Nothing some black lines with a Gundam marker won't fix.

If you have some extra time, can you post some pics demonstrating some of the poses you can do with the waist? AKA how much can you fiddle with it to get her into different poses? Also, is that left arm as useless as it looks? Can it be posed at all? Thanks a lot.

EDIT: I hope they make the other two sisters NOT AS REPAINTS, since they already let me down in that regard with the deluxes AND the included HA figures. This would be a great and affordable scale to do all three in. Skrew combined mode, I just want three somewhat-accurate biker sisters! And like I said, the scale goes well with others.

The waist is very poseable, but balance is an issue. The part attached to the wheel base can maybe do two thirds of a complete turn, but her upper body is on a ball joint and can pretty much turn completely around on itself. The long thing torso bit can also tilt forward or back, but again, balance becomes an issue.

Sadly, her left arm does not move, it can only fold down or fold back up. Still, it is only a Legends toy...

And it would be nice if they complete the bike sisters with two more new Legends, but I doubt it'll happen.
