I got this guy on clearance a few days ago at Walmart for my birthday. So far, I've gotten him in truck mode successfully......ONCE! I've been trying and trying, but those damn arms. I've tried looking for YouTube videos on how to transform him but some foreigner is usually giving the review and I can't understand a dang word they're saying. Can anyone please find me a video that teaches how to transform him from robot into truck? It's driving me insane and I've been so tempted to just throw it at the wall, full-force. Thanks!

I'd say look up Stopmotionjr.'s review. Yeah, those arms are a pain at first. I couldn't transform him correctly for about 3 days before I figured out the arms.

Hang in there. When I first transformed my ROTF Prime, it took me 45 minutes one-way. I was sweating bullets.

After some practice, I decided to do some modifications: I weakened the peg holding his back kibble to his back, and I carved release grooves into his chest flaps.

I can now transform the toy in about 3 minutes. I only really sweat when I transform his back kibble. Even with the loosened peg, it's still pretty darn frightening when you take his truck-walls and "break" it into halves to become back kibble.

    Damn... I wish mine was $35! I paid $50 :(

Anyway, yeah the problem I had the most at first was slipping those "firewall" pieces (the 2 red pieces under his windshield) into the grooves on his arms (that I didn't realize were there at first) while simultaneously flipping the hood panels over top, while simultaneously getting the gray cylinders/blue panels in.

That's a lot to do all at one time for only 2 hands, but with practice you'll get it! Good luck.

I'd say hit up Optibotimus' review. Him and Peaugh did great reviews for that figure. Between the two of them I'm sure you'll get the hang of it.

Oh, and happy belated birthday then! :)

Your location is listed as Cybertron.
just curious, but isn't alien a bit harder to understand than a foreigner?

just got my smart-ass quota for the week.

I hate the reviews where dude has King Kong sized hands and covers the whole toy as he says, "and you move this like so, and then turn that- see that piece- make sure it turns just like that..."

Wish I coulda snagged a Ldr for that cheap.

the arms are a bitch. always. I still have trouble, I've had him for almost four months. the pieces just have to get in there too damn tightly.

    get used to it.

its a bit easier if you take the swords off.
