If you mean cut them off and keep them attached to the underside of the upper stack that's already there, Not really, or you'll interfere with the shoulders. I suppose it's POSSIBLE, but man, not worth the effort involved. You could glue them onto the blue panels if you really wanted and not affect the transformation.

As for the upper stacks, yeah they're just soft rubber plastic pegged into the blue pieces. You could easily pop them off and switch them.

1 more question, why are the wheels on his lower thighs on hinges? Is there any apparent reasoning for that??

Tires are plastic. I didn't take any pose pictures since Genzhao took a lot and posted them here and over at the Arker, but I just noticed the bandwidth exceeded images (Man, already? Doesn't bode well for my gallery) so I'll try to get a few more done tonight with my phone cam.

So they can move in and out. They push in to sit right against his legs in robot mode, and pull out to stay even with the other set of wheels in truck mode.

I'm in love with this mold and I don't even own it yet.

    Oh, and thanks Peaugh.

    No problem!

Here's the link to the video review:

I've posted it in the first post, AND in the video feedback thread, even though it's still processing. I expect it to be live any minute now, and I'm going to be away from the computer for a couple of hours. This way you get to see it as soon as it's live.

What an amazing improvement, I really hope we get a nightwatch version again.

His hands aren't articulated are they?

If not, could the hands from '07 Prime be swapped?

And can you take another side pic with the arms moved out of the way?
I still don't get how this thing transforms, it's crazy.

Well, the video review is up. I'll try to get more still shots later today. As for the hands, maybe. I think folded up there's definitely ROOM for them in alt mode, but I haven't looked too closely at the connections to see if it would be worth trying.

At the moment I can't watch videos. :redface2:

    Thanks.

Oh and since I can't watch your video, what do those red tabs on his feet do?
Could they be used for the supposed combination with Jetfire?

A marvel of engineering that's for sure, I'll be standing in line for this one like the rest of you. I know everyone is on a tight budget these days but I for one would gladly shell out another 5-10 for the premium paint job out of the gate.

<sigh> I suppose ya can't blame hasbro for releasing several different versions since they know we can't help but buy 'em. erg.. transformers.. my one true vice.

    Amazing.

I normally don't go in for Premiums... but this guy? I'd consider rebuying a Premium version depending on the deco.
