yeah, wouldn't be too tough to mirror it. though I would suggest taking the parts off the main barrel, swapping them to the other side then casting it a second time. Looks kinda big and intricate though, casting it would be a pain with all the recessed areas or detail.

If you and red4 wouldn't mind coordinating that, I'm sure you would get alot of them sold. If you do mirror them I'll definately buy two. I hope this idea works out, these gus would add so much to the figures.

Yea, I know which pics you used, but to me it looks like around the handle area tappers down into the barrel. Maybe I'm just not looking at the pictures closely enough. Again, that's just my opinion, and I'm not sayin you're wrong. Just my veiw point I suppose.

I seen dat you done updated them photos with them new ones! Lookin' dope as ever! Though I find myself feeling pity for yer Optimus Prime, coz bad man not gettin' the same attention as da gun. You should show love to your Optimus, bro. Paint the bad man!

    Am I making sense here?

You're making plenty of sense, but I dareth not toucheth Optimuseth Primeth, for I do not have the six-pence with which to spare lest I fuck him up. Which is to say, he's too expensive for me to experiment on.

Hahahaa.. I know how you feel man. I'm thinking about changing his forearm myself, but afraid that it won't be able to transform back to his alt mode. I want to paint him as well, and also afraid that I might screw him up rather than making him look better.

If only they don't make this guy so F**ckin' expensive. When you think about it, it's just plastic. The production cost itself may be less than 1/4 of its retail price.

Any news yet about the casting and mirroring? I would love to own a copy (L+R) of these. Preferably unpainted offcourse!

PM me if you have a price (even a high one, I support fan projects!)

sorry man, been way busy here. I have 400+ emails to write back to this morning. type, sip coffee, type, sip coffee....

Anyway, the gun's too complex for my skill level casting. There are too many recessed areas, and I don't want to take the chance creating half-assed guns.

Can you come up with a more accuarate gun for prime for casting? I have updated my TFTM gun like you did on the last Prime you did. But I would still like something more like the ROTF Prime guns.

I'd like to, but quite honestly, It's quicker easier and cheaper to go the route red4's gone for them. Casting a big gun like this is quite difficult. I wouldn't mind building a solid set (one for each hand) and then having someone else with better cast skills do the repro though. Perhaps Ptitvite or Solscud migth be up for that, or casting the one here by red4.
