I'm definitely looking forward to this guy, but he is one of the figures I'm thinking will get a Premium version at some point. A darker, more shiny, gray color similar to the first movie's Premeium version would look awesome on this mold. Though I'm not sure I'm going to be able to wait long enough for a Premium edition. It is nice to finally see pictures of his bot-mode without the odd looking "toe" parts flipped down. He looks much better, and movie accurate this way. He may not be perfect, but he's definitely buyable.
These pics have me warming up to the headsculpt. Not bad of a figure, I'll get him if he makes a good showing in the movie for sure, though I'll probably buy him anyway.
I just think that if they left the elecrtonics out of these figures they would improve so much... Don't get me wrong, he looks badass, and like he's gonna seriously do a lot of damage in this movie, but there's still a lot of improvement for this guy. Still, he's so bought!
their never going to remove electronics from large mainline toys as it appeals to the kids and Hasbro just wont have it any other way even if the designers think it will be a hindrance
