    good job frenzy.

good results can be had with both alclad and alsa.. the technique used on most of these figs were VM. below is my take on alclad

    No. Boom boom pow. BEP.

Anyway, that almost makes me want to break out my Protoform 'Screamer. That's actually the only figure I have that's still MISB.

You missed a very important step, how to base the toy before applying the alclad. I always use gloss black but rarely can get a finish like that, plus alclad requires a lot of protecting and the clear i use always dulls it a bit but its vital otherwise it just rubs or chips off. What am i doing wrong? How did you turn the chrome gold?

Simply awesome. With this technique, you can make any classics figure a HENKEI!

sorry   that song was playin in the background as i was submitting that post..

yup, that proto SS is nice little figure.

    check your PM, Drpee

you're probably not doing anything wrong if you're getting the mirror shine, you just need to experiment with different clears. i recall suggesting using a diluted mix of testors clear enamel to Sabrina and Frenzy on a different post of mine. the gold was achieved by letting my leprechaun hommie 'midas' work his magic... sorry, couldn't resist :lol . gold was achieved with transparent yellow applied over the chrome.

    thanks for the support guys!

ah yes... we still have 10 days to go

Yea, lol, 10 more days to go... Supposedly. Might try disassembling my classics prime and magnus slto have ya chrome me up some grills n bumpers. So this stuff is pretty durable yea? I think I asked you that in your mirage thread, but I don't think I ever chacked back for an answer. But from what it seems like it is durable as of what we are seein.
