Love the movie character, bought the toy. Brought it home, tried to transform him to plane mode. WORST PIECE OF MOTHER-F***ing S*** I ever bought!!! The instructions are so useless, I may as well use it for toilet paper. Even that it would fail as it would give me a paper cut on my butt. What the hell was Hasbro thinking with this thing?!?!

Yes I watched all the vids on youtube, but mine does not come close to how well theirs fit together. Where do the legs clip on to? Where do the straps go? How do you get the nose cone/arms to fold together? What the heck do I have to do to put the thrusters to the fuselodge without the dang panels unclipping themselves. This thing is beautiful, but a total agony to transform. I was really looking forward to this thing, and it is a huge disappointment unless someone can give me some guidance as to change the thing and where the parts go as the instructions are a sick joke. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ye have fair warning. TF2 Leader Prime is a cake walk compared to this guy.

I must admit, I have too. Congrats on your purchase. Don't get me wrong, I was just venting from frustration. I love his robot and alt forms, it's just getting there that is frustrating. Nothing wants to cooperate and stay in place, and he's a bulky fella to work on which makes it all the more time fickle.

Returning it would do no good as it is the instructions that suck the most, not the particular toy.

Thanks, but I've done that and none of the reviews clearly show the how to deal with the issues I've mentioned, sadly.

The only issues I have with mine is no knowing where the 'belt' is supposed to go in plane mode. It looks like it plugs into those two holes but it doesn't . I finally uncliped it and tucked it beside his feet. Otherwise, no issues. Did take a while to get the thrusters in place.

Why don't you just keep trying to transform him. Eventually you will figure out all the tricks. It took me like three times to figure out all the tricks on Optimus. I find it funny when people gets so pissed that they can't understand the instructions. The Instructions never give you the "magic key" to transform these things. Just time and Patience.

If you get too upset just keep bashing him on the wall until something happens or bash with a hammer whatever works.

I'm having smilar issues. The feet plug into holes underneath the body. I'm having the same problems with the thrusters and straps though. My other issue is getting all those back panels to snap in together nicely...

If you can't stand the heat get the phuck up out the kitchen.

Seriously though, he was a bitch to transform. It takes a while, and I had all the same problems that you just mentioned. The answer: trial and error along with lots and lots of patience. You can do it.

The only toy I own with a more difficult transformation than this is MP Megatron.

    he was simple to transform.

    -fold thrusters in
-fold legs around and plug into wings
    -TF things on arms
-arms extend up and meet up top

quite simple seeing I turn mine upside-down and still see Jetfire.

hmmm. was this before or after any customizing? I only ask because it seems like on mine, and a close friend of mine's, it was extremely difficult to tab in at the thrusters, and when we would it would often jostle other panels out of place. That's why it took so long for me the first time.

Then again, with your line of work you are a pro at transforming these guys so this is like Lebron James telling us how easy it is to drive the lane and dunk over power forwards.;)

I picked up my Leader Jetfire this morning at Walmart in NW Houston, TX. Awesome figure!

    I have a quick question:

Mine has one red light in the chest. Is this correct? I thought there was supposed to be two, but only one in the chest lights up, to the right of my finger when I press the switch down. I looked at a video review, and I think it shows one light in the chest, but I wanted to be sure.

Thanks to anyone that can help me out here.
