What people fail to realize is that the hypothetical Voyager mold would suffer tremendously from that. The Leader mold at least had SOME room to pull off all 3 and look alright.
He's just talkin' crazy. I like the Leader, but I can see why most people wouldn't like it. (I'm surprised so many do)
Agreed. The only rather disappointing thing about him, IMO, is hiss combined mode. His CGI model leaves a little more to be desired, when it comes to the toy.
^^^ I agree. If there were only more pieces that snap off of Jetfire to put on Prime. but its still cool that they tried.
I think it would've worked better if they made Jetfire split into pieces instead of just transforming around him.

I like the Leader and it'd be the only one I'd buy anyways if a Deluxe or Voyager were also coming out. I'd rather an extra Deluxe or Voyager slot go to another Constructicon or, especially, a Voyager Soundwave.
Anyone who STILL thinks Leader Jetfire could have been made without a large amount of kibble in alt mode would be well advised to check out the actual dimensions of a real SR-71 as they would find that at the thickest point the fuselage is barely tall enough for the pilots to stand upright in,let alone hide all the robot parts. As the toy can't cheat the way a CGI model can it's probably the best Hasbro could do within the scale and whilst I don't defend them often I'll do so here as there's little else they could have done. The one thing I would have done differently would be to forget the combination feature and rerelease Leader Prime with a set of snap on Jetfire pieces as it'd likely look a lot more accurate.
> RA-13 Jet Fire Best pics I've seen of this guy. That actually makes me wonder if one of the garage Co might try doing something like that?
Thanks Paxtin. I also happen to have seen the Optimus Prime - Jetfire combo. And I must say, it doesn't look good at all. Looks nothing like in the concept art. EDIT: amazingly enough, this keychain looks so much better than a 28cm tall figure.
There has been a toy review on youtube for a while, by himself and combination mode if you really want to see front/back and durability.
