I finally got Jetfire yesterday. Pretty cool but he seems to have very loose knees. I actually have to pose him very low for him to stand with out him collapsing on himself. Anyone else have that issue?

Maybe just a loose screw. If not, return the bitch.

Hmmmm...It was the last Jetfire at the Walmart I got from. I'll wait until they get more.

Mine's knees collapse if his back's in an upright angle. When he's hunched over in a screen-accurate way he stays pretty stable.

Wouldn't he be a bastard? Anyway, of all the problems I've heard about Jetfire, you're the only one that I know of with the loose screw.

Yea, mine seems a little bit loose, but he works fine posed kind of hunched over, which is how he is posed, so I didn't see it as a big problem, and it is actually my second one (missing a fin on the first), and both seemed to be a little bit like this. I figured it was more his overall weight bringing him down, and it isn't bad enough for me to look for another to see if it is better.

Mine are pretty find, sure they ratchet down, but I think the hunch look fits him.

It's seem's like from pictures of him, I haven't got him yet..this now kinda makes me not want him at all now, but it seems like if you flip him upside down in vehicle mode it would just totally look like a bot still and you can see all the robot piece's and limbs...is this true with him or is there actually cover up piece's that make the bottom flush as well as the top???

Does it matter? You collect "UN-OPENED" Transformers :lol

The Alt mode IMO does kinda suck. Looking from the top it's pretty sweet. But as soon as you flip it over you see he has undercarriage-is-a-robot syndrome.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was just giving you a hard time :thumbs2:

But for real though, Jetfire is a pretty decent figure. His panels don't always line up the best, his knees are floppy if he's not bent over like an old man, and his alt mode is cool only from the top . . . but with all that being said I would STILL suggest him to anyone!

Oh, and Bruticus Maximus is a friggen sweet figure!

I have the same problem. I don't think there's any way to fix it, but I think that it was engineered that way for Optimus Combo Mode.

If you pose him in his hunched-over stance, it pretty much fixes the problem.

My knees were loose to when I was trying to stand him into an upright position. But as soon as I hunched him over, his knees were fine.

And as far as the alt mode, to be honest I hardly notice all his under carriage parts. I must just be focusing on his cool plane shell.

You kinda forget about the kibble on the underside. I have him on a lower shelf so it's harder to see the underside. The excellent jet mode makes the underside forgivable (IMO)

my Jetfire's knees are actually the opposite. They're insanely tight. I actually feel like I'm about to break it when I transform him.
