    For all the toys that were shown at the San Diego Comic Con is that all they are going to do for the rest of the ROTF toys or are they producing more, but have not reveal any yet?

    I think ROTF will continue throughout 2010 so there will be more toys

    More? I wouldn't put money on that. They've already said (I've seen it written but can't rememeber where off the top of my head) that the 3rd Arcee bike isn't happening now...and for them to have gone through development on something like that, clearly originally intended to combinewith the other two, then NOT release it is an indicator that the ROTF line isn't selling as well as they expected from the original expectations.
    the sheer number of repaints that we've started seeing this early in the toylines life can't be a good sign either.

    my magic 8 ball supersence is saying 'signs point to no' when asked about more ROTF toys other than ones we've already seen.

    Hasbro's made a point of spreading the repaints across the entire line. They said they're trying to avoid entire waves of repaints ala previous lines.

    Speaking of which, ROTF has already surpassed the original movie and then some in terms of original molds.

    Actually what I believe was said at the recent CC panel was that there will be a third bike, but it'll be a repaint/tool of one of the others, (My money is on Arcee.) but the combination gimmick was scrapped.

    Though, the facts and rumors on this toy have been so gaffed up, it seems no one can really say one way or the other for sure till either the figure comes out, or the ROTF line ends.

    We'll probably get some repaints of the toys from the first line that weren't overused first time around - like we've already seen repaints of Longarm and Stockade, I think we'll see Incinerator before too long.

    If we assume that the ROTF releases in 2010 will roughly match the first movie's 2008 releases in quantity, then we can expect ~12 deluxes, ~6 voyagers, and ~3 leaders in 2010. So far we know about 5 deluxes, 3 voyagers, and 1 leader.

    The Movie1 line gave us 2 new deluxe molds and 9 deluxe repaints (3 of which were premiums). The ROTF line already has 4 new deluxe molds, so I'd expect up to 8 deluxe repaints to come out before the line ends. I think we've seen all the new molds at this point, though given Hasbro's apparent desire to avoid repaints, that's by no means certain.

    Possible deluxes include:

    • Cannon blast Cliffjumper
    • G1 Soundwave
    • Red Rampage
    • Yellow Wheelie
    • Rescue Ratchet
    • Blazing Lockdown
    • A silver (movie-accurate) or gold (Steeljaw) Ravage
    • Brawn -> Trailbreaker
    • Dirge -> Ramjet
    • Chromia or Arcee -> Flareup
    All of the 2008 voyagers were repaints except Incinerator; we've already got 2 new ROTF voyager molds, so I'd expect ~4 repaints.

    Possibilities include:

    • Silver Megatron
    • Long Haul -> Wideload or Landfill
    • Incinerator -> Springer
    • G1 Scavenger
    • Starscream -> Thundercracker/Skywarp/Sunstorm/Someone new
    We have yet to see any ROTF leader-class repaints, so there are lots of possibilities here. Starscream seems to be coming out late, so I doubt he'll get any repaints in the ROTF line. We'll probably see leader TC and SW in the next line, though. :wink:

    We could see:

    • Nightwatch Prime
    • Shadowblade Megatron
    • G1 Jetfire
    So while we've seen most of what the ROTF line has to offer, I don't think we've seen everything.

    Probably around there, unless the retailers (continue to) decide they want nothing but movie toys until the end of time.

    I sure hope the rest of the line is more than just repaints. I want a Scrapper toy to go with my Rampage, Demolishor and Mixmaster!

    ...But I suppose I should find Long Haul first...:)

    I'm sure they're going to release some stupid sub-line repaints.

    QFT. I'm looking at the list of ROTF toys out right now, and there are TONS of molds that Hasbro could repaint into something. The thing is, Hasbro could repaint anything and call it something new. Hasbro could also re-deco toys into characters that are re-decos themselves, as in Legends Sideways into Legends Dead End.

    Legends Class:

    Bumblebee - Cliffjumper.
    Springer - Blades.
    Starscream - about a dozen Seekers :p
    Grindor - Legends Whirl.
    Sideways - Legends Dead End.
    Wheelie - Classic Wheelie (orange re-deco)

    Scouts:

    Dune Runner - Hound
    Depthcharge - Seaspray
    Dirt Boss - Spoons :lol

    Deluxe:

    Bumblebee - Cliffjumper (cannon or original mold, maybe a minor re-tool)
    Sideswipe - Sunstreaker
    Brawl - Warpath
    Wheelie - Classic Wheelie (Orange re-deco)
    Barricade - Prowl
    Ravage - Steeljaw
    Dirge - Ramjet
    Lockdown - Blazing Lockdown
    Brawn - Outback

    Voyagers:

    Demolishor - Scavenger
    Starscream - New Seekers. (Sunstorm, Acid Storm)
    The Fallen - the other 6 Primes. (minor retooling)
    Long Haul - Landfill

    Leaders:

    Starscream: ONE other Seeker.
    Optimus Prime - some pointless repaint, possibly a revamped night watch Prime.
