Nice. I bought a HA Sideswipe to repaint myself, but I doubt I'll ever get around to it. I'm starting to get out of the ROTF phase and back into traditional G1 stuff.

    Looks great, though.

As always, you painting skills never cease to amazing me. All the detail you put on Sideswipe's face is ridiculous. I really can't say enough about how awesome you made Sideswipe look, he's just another addition to your mind boggling customs.

Sweet! Sadly, I think this will be the only HA figure I won't get though.

Well done as usual. I think you should've given him bigger more menacing blades though :)  And I seriously hate that your five star work is always rated lower. Such crap.

Question, when you take your photos what is the reflective surface you place your bots on? It adds so much.

simple mod, I will post the tutorial later on. it's real easy and clipable back on.

thanks, it's 24 gauge copper wire (black) that I wound around a paint brush handle tightly, slid off, then pulled from each end to give the "spring" look.

    personally, can't wait for mudflap....

haha, thanks. I use 1/8" black plexiglass as the base to stand my customs on, local sign shops should have "cut-offs" they will sell you for $20ish, I have 16x16 and 24x24 inch squares of it. Scratches easily, so usually swap in a new one every 4th custom shoot or so...

Looks great, wish there were something to do about his hands though.. That was the only thing I didn't like about the figure outside of the backpack

honestly, your painting and customizing skills are unreal. the attention to detail is amazing. the figure unfortunatley will always have full on thunder thighs. i will enentually buy him to go with my bumblebee and skids. glad your getting out of the ROTF stuff and back to G1, i always get excited to see your G1 classics universe stuff coz i know its gonna be awsome. maybe you should have had sideswipe doing laps of your front of back garden lol might have helped in the thigh area!

I agree. No offense F_R but i reckon that no matter how well you paint it, that huge torso still puts it off for me...
