Ugh he's looking really nice. And as much as I don't like to buy multiple figures of one characters I think I'm going to get it just because of the entire Sam gimmick.

I've been wondering the same thing. All we have to go by is the can tab. That tells me absolutely nothing, sadly. As I've said before: [roughly] 1:24 = purchased. Not [roughly] 1:24 = left on the shelf.

 

That looks better than I expected. Still not completely sold on it since I have so many BBs, but it's definitely tempting.

 

thats way nicer than the 2 deluxes of 2007 who i felt had some really clumsy aesthetics. hes more like a cross between an alternator and a movie toy, the many parts manage to look good together.

he looks too polished to be a delux. hes got a proper pair of legs this time.

 

We'll have to wait and see. Not minding the gun arm but, would prefer a hand.

 

JUST TELL US HOW BIG HE IS ALREADY!!! I just wanna know if he's in proportion to the rest of the movie figures....

 

This guy is so bought, I'll skip the deluxe for this, don't give a shit about scale.

 

Might I suggest placing... oh, I don't know.... A RULER beside the toy instead of a pull tab from a can of unknown size?

 

I wish the legs were done like the automorph on the deluxe. The knees are a major draw back on an otherwise great toy.

 

Looks really nice, except for having one hand and daft amounts of car-back-leg kibble. I'll probably buy it, but it'll be the only version of the character I bother with.

Other than not having two real hands still and the tail lights on his shins (they should have made them flip around the back) I'd say that this is the second best movie Bumblebee figure ever made next to Ultimate Bumblebee.

It would be nice to have two hands with the option to apply the hand cannon but whatever. The chest and head mold rocks and the flip down battle mask is great. I was hoping for a figure like this in the original movie line.

 

Shame falls on the house of ultimate bumblebee.

I really was hopeing for the big reveal size comparison with another toy.

Edit: Looking at the pics again you can see a torn off soda can tab with flap in bumblebee's hand and next to his foot. Its big. And could still be a alternator size. Hasbro may indeed be doing alternator fans a service call if they do some more cars in the product line. (which they should as the additional human alliance pack humans have been confirmed)

Ha. Its a brand new scale for the movie line. 1:24 likely. But I hope they'll make a couple more this size.
Do to the detail level and improved durability especially.
