A little bit of weathering touch up and some decals and Hightower is done. He started off as sublime green but I thought it was too cartoony for what I had in mind. I wanted to pay homage to G1 Devastator but still have it look like its real world. I painted him with straight up body shop paint and a little bit of Testors enamels. Mods were pretty simple. Using the hydraulic section of deluxe Rampage, some random Gundam joints and styrene tubing I made the rear cable thingy. I also sacraficed some of the rigging pully's from my USS Constitution model to hold my cable work together. Lemme know what you guys think!
does anyone have a universe se-03 dragstrip loose that they would sell me? also need some advice on my custom menasor. I of course am using dragstrip as the right arm. I at at a loss as to what other figures to use. I know that I am going to use a universe silverstreak and possibly a universe sunstreaker. would a rotf smokescreen (jazz repaint) work as another arm? I am using galaxy force prime for motormaster, unicron waist and legs, primus for the arms, sup ss head. any suggestions? Ken
Ha, I will see what I can do my friend! I don't remember how much exactly of what color I added to get the final result but I'm sure I could whip up something close. I only have less than 2 ounces of this color left! I did however manage to get decals printed up so I'm hoping he will bedone tomorrow!
