i have just a couple gripes to an otherwise fun movie.

    1. The Fallen was a Pussy.
in the first TF movie, Megatron had at least some respect. In the Mission City battle, you hear an autobot yell, "It's Megatron" and then tell the others to retreat because....He's Megatron. Bad-ass Supreme, killer of Cybertronians.

In RotF, The Fallen isn't at all treated like someone even Megs works for.

Just another Decepticreep and another day on the Job....yawn.
Megs stole the shoe in RotF IMO.

    2. RotF reduced to Cobra Commander Lameness.
The whole, taking over the Times Square TV and the world's TV's just took away any and all of the intimidation of the Decepticons.
Betcha 10 dollars and tickets to a 2009 Cav's game that everybody in the movie thought it a viral video or a new Michael Bay ad campaign for TF3 oe something.

    3. Who was that Pencil Pusher and why was he in this movie?
all i can say is he coulda been edited out, the whole, "tarmac of disrespect" scene coulda been tossed and the movie woulda been just as good or a tad better. he didn't motivate, didn't stir feelings or anything other than piss fanboys off.

    4. Lennox and Co. Who cared?
i really liked Lennox and the boys in TF1. Lennox had a family and a kid to save/return to. in this movie....we learn nothing or have any reason to root for him or Epps. i miss that element.

i really liked the movie, but these 4 things irked me.

Bay, you are a good man and directed a great action flick. the script was lacking, that's all.

    rip me a new one....in 4...3...2...

Lennox got rid of the a-hole by talking a million miles a minute & telling him to pull the blue cord then called him a dumbass as he got sucked out the door. One of the best scenes in the movie. Gotta give him credit for that!

The movie is awesome the way it is. Everything is fine. Don't need to change a thing. I can't wait to get the dvd.

This. The only thing that needs to be changed is everyones attitude towards the film...It wasn't made to be the next Dark Knight or Star Trek in terms of story, it was just made to blow your socks off visually, and it succeeded, I still can't find my socks.

I compare ROTF to Taco Bell. It fills you up for two and half hours, but then leaves you feeling empty.

I coulda done with a tigher plot, but can enjoy the eye-candy for what its worth.

    Unless i broke a rule, i don't see a mod killing it.

and i did say i like the film.
it is just with any movie i like, there are "weak" areas.

Like in FF2, everybody was hyped to see Silver Surfer because You Know Who was not far behind.
and then...he's a ball of gas and dust?
no threat, no fear, nothjng but a gas ball.

The Fallen shoulda been bigger and badder.
In Star Wars, you learn early on not to yank on Vader's cape or screw up his Starbucks order. The Fallen is in the movie and we aren't given a level of his badness to see and fear.

i'm off to read the book. maybe that will fill in some holes for me.
