I'm tempted to get him, but I still hope for a Leader version.

GRINDOR IS A BLACKOUT IMPERSONATOR AND MUST GO 2 HELL FOR HIS CRIMES!!!!! sorry. just had 2 get that off my chest. i think the colors look decant and all, but i just cant get over the fact that grindor is replacing blackout.

 

We should all boycott this mold so that Hasbro has to make a leader class mold in order to make money on Blackout/Grindor. I'm not buying this. With the economy in the shitter, it's not even practical for me to get it.

The mold wouldn't sell as a voyager because of the boycott for a new leader blackout. With all the money they would save on crappy repaints they could engineer new figures.

I passed on the FAB Blackout mold before, but I like this one just for the extra deco items. Picking up both of these it looks like.

 

I hate this mold as much as I love the on-screen character..I never get why people like the Blackout mold so much, it's horrible in my opinion.

Scale issues aside as well as the inevitable wearing down of the shoulder pins, the blackout voyager mold is the better one between he and starscream. Starscream just fit underneath the quasi-F-22 lookalike. Blackout looked good in his alt mode and half descent in his robot mode. I think it would be a good thing to see a leader version of him, and depending on the popularity, considering Starscream's leader fig coming out beginning of next year; we might just get a really fantastic blackout mold. Especially if the trend for the sequel follows the the second film's repaint affair  

 

And so did movie 1 Blackut. I only saw him in stores once, and only one of him. I picked that mold up. I saw Evac once, and only one of him, and didn't pick him up. I saw Incinerator once, and only one of him, and didn't pick him up. I saw Animated Megatron once, and only one of him. I picked him up.

See what I'm saying? Helecopter transformers sell well. They'll get money off Grondor, and I only see him once. I'll pick up Grindor, because I live the Blackout mold, and he's in the game. I'll get Whirl and Bludgeon, because I love the Blackout and Wreckage molds, and need some cannon fodder.  

However, I will stiil hope for a leader Blackout. I don't want a leader Starscream. He has an awesome voyager.
