Many fans wanted to see Grimlock in the Transformers movie in one way or another, and were probably disappointed when they found out that the chances of seeing Grimlock in the live-action movies are extremely slim.

    So...

What if Grimlock was made as an off-screen Scout sized figure much like Dirt Boss and Dead End have been? I myself would be happy with this. I'd be happier with a Deluxe Grimlock, but I know that's unlikely to happen. With a Scout sized toy, it's a lot easier.

Just don't do any "movie" Grimlocks unless they are going to do it right. I think the War Within figure is the closest thing we would get. No chance on a T-Rex.

A mechanical T-Rex of course, but with the same styling as Movie Scorponok had.

The problem with that is Scorponok burrows underground to hide, but a T-Rex is far from a disguise.

And Scorponok is more of a "pet", while Grimlock is decidedly not.

Look, I understand that Grimlock won't work in any Transformers film and that's the reason why I don't want to see him in any of the movies. A small non-show toy however, doesn't necessarily have to be work in the real world (or in a movie). And it's not like the Movie Scouts from the first movie toy-line had realistic looking alternate modes anyway...

There's no such thing as too much Grimlock-speak.

As I've said before 'round these parts - I think Grimlock could work as a tank that turns into a T-rex. I think it could be done.
