This mold had a fair amount of details already on it, but it's biggest problem was the hydraulic arm and the scoop. I sawed off the side of the arm and make it a little sleeker and added workable pistons and hydraulic tubing. I also covered the big gaping hole at the bottom of the scoop with a piece of pla-plate. Added some flood lights at the front.

As for weathering, most of it was added at the bottom of the vehicle and on the scoop, because this is one really mammoth vehicle that is few storey tall.

    Hope you like the mods.

Wow man killer job, looks perfect.

You fixed my main issue with this big toy by addressing the scooper.

He's so big a kid could use it with his tonka trucks in some dirt, If there was'nt a huge square hole in the scooper :lol  (wtf hasbro)
The mods you added look official and very well done. Now I wish mine had hydraulics

Alos like how you left the top clean. Maybe you could add some birdpoop on the gate parts lol

I do use acrylic and black Enamel paints for washing.

    Thanks Guys.

I hand painted all the weathering using acrylic paint by tapping the paint on the surfaces. Chipping were painted using a very fine brush.

    Thanks alot guys.

LOL, sorry bro, couldn't find a brush fine enough to paint those birdpoop. [Those birds would have been fried by the scavenger if they attempted to poop on him]
