We know from Hasbro that he'll be $99.99, have lights and sound, and "loads of features"... from what we've seen, any chance one of those features might be something like the cables we see him shoot out in the trailer?
I'd actually much prefer something like that to whatever obnoxious sound effects that'll inevitably be tacked onto him. Plus, for $100 and the individual vehicles don't transform, it'd be some nice added play value.

He will have the ability to warm shelves for an infinite amount of time.
He will have the ablity to make kids cry when mommy and daddy say no everytime they walk by him.
He will have the ability to piss people off who actually buy him.

Just my opinion and all, and certainly not empirical, but I think he looks really cool. Even for the cost involved.
At any rate, looking at the pics of him, the "cab" of the crane used for his left arm (gray compartment behind his left hand) looks like it could possibly hinge to reveal something. And it would stand to reason that a crane might have a cable weapon, although in the trailer it looks like the cable are coming from the right hand. It does look like the vehicle for the right arm would be better equipped to conceal such a feature, but I can't tell where it might come out at if it exists (like the gray region behind the "bucket"/hand... I can't tell how or even if any of those parts move.)

He's meant to have the maw vortex thing from the trailer -- but that just means you can open his mouth wider... I hope you're right about the cables. I know he's huge and all, but there had better be something more than the usual lights and sounds you can get in any Leader.

I cannot believe there are people whining about FP stuff being overpriced when Hasbro wants to charge $100 for a buttugly statute.

Thank goodness we'll have non-Hasbro transformers stuff to buy while Hasbro rapes the masses.

there really oughta be something there, because so far i've seen nothing from him that justifies it. My biggest gripe is that from an engineering/design/sculpting standpoint he just doesn't even look like he's in the same class as other movie toys... more "powerbot/FAB" style then maine line style ~ not totally mind you,. but you get the idea...

I would love for there to be a demonstration of all that he can do at Botcon, or even on a video on the Hasbro website. Something this big, it would be very nice to know what our money is buying.

I like him. I would like to see some mechalive in the head. Maybe pushing a button on the back causing his mouth to turn into the grinder vortex, instead of just moving a few pieces. I too would like to see the grapples as well.

    Heheheh.

I'd love for this thing to have a motor to move on its own, a la Omega Supreme. It won't make it worth $100, but hey it might amuse the kids. Ultimate Bumblebee can move a little bit on his own, and at least that one could transform despite the exhorbitant cost.

He's got thread-creating abilities. Sucking action. And electronic dreams and hope crushing.

Fanboys not included. Needs 1000000000000 AA fanboys to work as a toy.
