Haven't seen this posted here yet. Here's an auction for ROTF Demolishor and the seller provides a nice shot of the box.

2009 Transformers movie 2 Voyager DEMOLISHER rare! - eBay (item 170304539741 end time Feb-27-09 05:03:32 PST)

"Hiding... content until a new Decepticon leader emerges" ;-)

"..built quite a little community" :-D

DEMOLISHOR isn't very bright, but he knows when to fight, and when to run and hide. Arriving on Earth to find Megatron destroyed, hiding seemed like the best option. Since then, he's taken a few smaller Decepticons under his protection, and built quite a little community. It hasn't been easy hiding among the humans that creep like a disease over this planet, but he and his companions are content until a new Decepticon leader emerges to guide them back to glory.

:lol  That's so cute! It makes the Constructicons sound like a family of turn-of-the-century immigrants, huddling together on a steam ship to realise their dreams of making a new life on Earth, land...er, planet of the free.

I am really hoping this idea is followed up in the film. If that means giving all the Constructicons Irish accents, then so be it. :D

I dont think the "smaller bots" are the Constructicons. I think its refering to Sideways among others.

    Great bio

That would make sense, seen as he's supposed to be the Constructicon leader.

So, I read somewhere that on the packaging he's called Demolisher, but in the movie he's Scavenger. Is that right?

Very nice bio. It's nice to see bad guys who've got more depth to them than being evil, even if it is only in a three or four line bit of text on the back of the box.

What it is, the $100 Devastator giftset version of Devastator includes the excavator, except where there is the black and white hazard stripes on this one, there is "SCVNGR". The filename of the image we got from Hasbro was also called Scavenger.jpg, that is how we know the names of the other four incidentally.

However, we've not seen the Devastator in package yet, so odds are, the toy is going to be Demolishor by the time it makes it to retail. I can't see what is effectively the same character having two names in the same toyline.

Awww~ What a swell Decepticon, looking out for his own men like that. :D

I may get him on the basis on his bio alone. (GJ, Hasbro)

ok can someone tell me how the hell the toy can be in the configuration shown on the back of the packaging?

Do the re 'cabin' sections rotate on the shoulders?

and what the hell happens with the huge block directly about the head in the actual toy photo, have hasbro just photoshopped it out or what?

That's a surprisingly deep bio for a guy who's essentially a giant death machine.

I have to say, I'm sold on this toy, more so then I would have thought. I liked it alot when I first saw it, and I still do. I plan on picking one up.

(Also, my theory on the use of the SCVNGR on the side of the other version might be a homage or something, a nod to the fans and a distraction from the crappiness of the toy set.)
