Another contructicon completed, I am beginning to like the ROTF constructicon molds. I hope you like them too.

Feel free to suggest and comment.

Wow I never ever wanted to buy this figure. But you have changed my stance on the issue. Great job. Perfectly great job.

Your repaints are always so nice. What techniques do you use? Airbrushing and dry-brushing?

Your repaints are AWESOME! I just ordered a airbrush so I hope I can at least repaint a bitdecent

Perhaps a very dumb question. Do you take the figures apart or do you tape everything?

nice job alte. love the extras. curious though, looking at the unpainted and yours side-by-side in that last photo, was your's transformed differently or backwards or something? what happened to the rectangles on the shoulders where the caution stripes were?

Apparently he smoothed that panel out, and painted "iO & Ki" on it.

also, I think the base would be even cooler if half of it was road (with the yellow stripes) and some flames and crushed mini cars.

I think he's trying to emulate the feel of the forest battle, which featured no human structures.

A mixture of airbrushing and hand-painting.

For this mold, I figure I should take it apart to paint. I manage to unscrew it, but still trying to figure out how to remove the pins.

    Thx Maximus_Prime, I didn't know.

Removed the panel and smooth it down as someone mentioned, just following the concept art and it's label.

    Thx autobotx23.

Yup I did smoothed down the panel, great eyes.

I thought about it, but could find matching cars to get crushed and making the diorama may take much longer than modding and painting the mold. (Even matchbox cars are a bit too big)

Can always consider the possibility of building a devastator later, when Hasbro release all the molds of the contructicons.
