Love this guy from the movie but hate how the toy and every other custom so far has been predominantly red. Well thats all changed now, did the mods similar to jins with a new double balljointed neck, claws on bucket and also removing the tabs on his wheels so they can free spin and roll around. Paint job was based loosely on what he was supposed to be in the movie which is a Terex Mining Excavator. After he was done being painted(with lacquers and enamels no less)I thought the white was way to clean so busted out my pigments and went to work, he has realistic mud and splatter effects and an overall dirtiness that an excavator on the job would have(including a polished bucket front because of the digging.) Hope I didn't miss the mark on this but I love him so I digress.... Enjoy! =D

I am liking this guy, I assume it's the 1st scene version "The fallen shall return..." etc,etc

I personally will be renaming each version of mine into their G1 counterparts, these generic Constructicons I view as different bots altogether.

Yessir thats the version! The whole movies set of constructicons and all the mess with devs is very debatable. Looking forward to what you do with em. ^_^
Thanks! The feet of soundwave glue inside the shovel and fold in. The neck is just a ball joint gotten from overseas(you can easily use a salvaged toys joint), and the wheels just need to be unscrewed and the little black tab cut off inside. All pretty simple once you get to it.
    Thanks very much Bro!

Thanks, but can you also explain how you got the head off?

Grab it by a corner and pull really really hard(with your hand, no tools or you might mess him up). Its wedged in and has tabs holding it in so and due to the complicated nature of disassembling him I just yoinked it right off.

I want to see a Demolisher where someone makes the shovel functional like Energon Devastator's.

Very nice repaint, I love the dirt in the tread look. How did you accomplish that?

All the dirt/grime/rust/etc. was created using pure pigments, copic markers, Acrylic binder and mineral spirits. Varying techniques really and a lot of experimentation. =D

Thanks! Heard there will be no premium line but I do hope they make a white version of him and a red of Rampage.

Love the "muddy" look of him. And props for goin' screen accurate. That pic of him turning his head toward the camera is badass. Very intimidating look.

I love it! The constructicons from the movie have been some of my favorite designs in a long time. I haven't taken a crack at Demolishor yet, but I think you've achieved exactly what I would go for.

nice colors , Im not intirely conviced about the thumb solution... It would have been cooler if they would be less visible in alt mode. I guess I've got to figure out something else then.

Love the fact that he now can look around, I'm definitely adding that to mine as well.

Thank ya sir! Same here, these cool non-humanoid bots are kick arse.
Thanks! Yeah wish they coulda been a little slimmer but I like the way they look. The double Neck joint is the beezneez, gotta do it, just isnt the same without it.
Thanks man! I knew as soon as I saw the commercial that I would have to make him more movie accurate, glad he looks cool in white. Baby Blue? LOL I wanna see that.
ROFL Love it! Thanks very much and I appreciate the compliment.

You mention adding a double neck joint. I don't have the toy yet, and I'm wondering what difference the new neck makes? Was the original head stationary?

The head is stationary and recessed a bit. With the joint I used it pulled the head out at least half an inch so he has clearance from the sides and can look sde to side instead of just straight.

Awesome work there! I like the weathering effect, and now he looks just like he was in the movie: better hands and more posable head.

Very very very well done! :thumb  :thumb
