Hey guys, heres my Video Review of Revenge of the Fallen Deluxe Skidz. He's a really interesting figure. Check him out and let me know what you think. Thanks! UPDATE: I just posted an Update video showing the proper back transformation. I had a proble, Figuring it out because that piece was really stiff and it didnt look like it could move. Anyways check out the quick 1 min update to see the Proper back transformation. Thanks for watching and I'm sorry for the Mix-Up.

This should get FP'd, I don't think there's been any other actual video review of this toy.

Very good quality video review. He looks liek a very fun figure, but no way have you TF'd him correctly. Here's how the backpack should look.

Considering taht the legs have to doors like that, I'd expect articulation to be severly limited, but I'm glad I was wrong.

Nice. The figure is much better than I thought it would be. The arm gimmick is cool, and he has great colors. SOLD.

Dear God, Hasbro went from sloppy/sticky paint apps to almost no paint apps on these robot modes.

Your link shows what I think is an impossible transformation for this figure. He's got a small tab in the back of his head where the read of the car should snap into, look at my pic :

The way the pic (you linked) shows the robot form, the back part is just floating. Also, the 2 parts on the outsides of the front grill can't just stick out like that photo from toyfair, they are sping loaded and pop back where they came from.

    ___

Sad to see the joints are loose in yours as well. I wonder if it is a QA priority for Hasbro to fix the loose ball joints and give him better feet to stand on.

If you check DBank's updated video, it would seem the backpack folds up so that it is more out of the way and solid. It does tab in like you've shown, but the windsheild is out of the way of the legs.

D Banks, I'm curious, are there any mysterious or seemingly useless connection points for a possible combining gimmick with Mudflap?

It looks cool but I can't beleive that there is so much space in the cabin that is not being used for that big green peice that stick out on the bottom of the car. Great review!!!

I dig the alt mode, but I don't care for the robot mode.

Looks pretty cool, and the update was a very good correction. I know how it is to be excited about a new toy and not quite get everything right. Of course, I usually fall back to instructions, but as a pre-release toy, you don't have the benefit.

Alright review. Really want this fig though. More than Mudflap, for some reason I think Skids is more unique. Also he looks a lot like Yoda. :)
