    Howdy!

Here is the pictorial review for ROTF deluxe class Rampage!!!

    THOUGHTS:

This guy is great. Very unique and different. He definitely has some sort of spider mode going on with his back legs and will be interesting to see in the film.

He can no way stand without those back legs, you can remove the shovel, but he will not stand since his front legs have no back support what so ever.

His legs attached at the hip have some sort of spring that allow the front legs to move together for some neat posing but can be cumbersome when trying to move or pose one leg at a time.

You can leave the treads on the arms but limits arm movement, or you can pull them apart for his whips.

Arms are limited as far as mobility. They can not turn at the shoulder and there is also no elbow/wrist joints either. This is a big turn off since it would allow for more character and arm mobility/posing.

Transformation is neat, kind of reminds me of the old school spring loaded transformers, like the basic beast wars figures where the front moves to the back and at the same time arms and legs move outwards.

    Enjoy the pics!!!

At first, I thought he looked like crap, but after seeing these pictures, he looks a little better. I just don't like all the yellow in bot mode. Makes him look cheap. I'm still not sure if I want to get him. Giraffe mode made me lol.

    Abyssmally slow mental connection: go!

Rubber treads, beefy claws, and multilegged mode reminds me of Beast Wars Rampage. Awesome!

    He's awesome.

Anyway, can you combine his front legs into a jack-hammer? People said he could do that at Toyfair.

Seems like he'll probably walk on the whips in the movie. Kinda like doc ock.

At least... that's the vibe I get

Hows the articulation in the head? Can it look up and down and left and right?

Awesome, there's only one problem I have with him. ALL the pics & the video of him save the photoshopped pic do not have the chestplate with the Decepticon symbol as seen here:
Has he been mistransformed in all the pics(including your own) or has hasbro cut this part out(which would really suck)?

I've been wondering that too; I hope it's just a mistransformation and not a re-engineering.

the chest plate does not have a con symbol, and in the hasbro pics they have the plate down to the waist and in mine i believe it goes up under the head, the end of the plate as these slots that seriously go to nothing, but the 2 grey pieces on the side of head slide into the side of the plate.

But he does have the plate right? Could you try and take some pics of the plate like in the photoshopped version? His chest looks empty to me without it and gives me a big case of nerd rage to see it like that.

Edit:As long as I'm requesting pics, how about a few w/Bonecrusher, I have a feeling they look awesome together.

Nice, this'll be one of the first ROTF toys I'll buy once they hit shelves.

This pic still makes me think that he will walk on his treads in robot mode doc ock style. I think they're getting very creative in this flick.

sorry i dont have a bonecrusher, sold most of my old movie toys along time ago....

    but....

I dont like it for 3 reasons:
    1. you see the 2 grey pieces hang over by his head
    2. you have to have that bottom of the plate moved to the back to offer and support, in the hasbro photo it is basically being balanced on the front because the plate has no real locking points or pegs.
    3. no CON symbol

    In robot mode.

But knowing Hasbro it was probably just a "oh look the toy can do this! let's call it attack mode!"
