I remember reading that Jolt was a late addition to the ROTF roster and that his deluxe toy would be coming later than the other main cast members'. Is that because he was a late addition and the FAB was easier to design and produce? What are your thoughts about this? If this has been discussed before, feel free to lock this thread.

I'm guessing that Hasbro ended making him in the first FAB wave while his Deluxe isn't in the first main wave for no good reason.

As long as Iget mainline figs of the whoel cast at SOME point, I don't mind any delay. But I do believe that his Deluxe may come later just because they will have already made plenty of deluxes and still need to finish designing his. (due to him beign a late addition)

I was wondering where his figure was. (Besides the FAB.)

That makes a bit more sense to me now.

But seriously, out of all of the cars they could've picked to add to the roster...the Volt? I'm normally not a car enthusiast (basically, if it gets me to point b and back, I'm good.) but this is Transformers and it's full of muscle cars, expensive vehicles you'll never be able to own, and a Chevy Volt just ain't cuttin' it for me.

Hell, I'm still surprised they had a Cobalt in the first line. (Swindle)

I know what you mean. I think the Volt was chosen more from a marketing standpoint than a 'Which car will kick the most ass" standpoint. Seeing as the Volt is supposed to be the car that saves Chevy, I can see why they would want to feature it in the biggest product placement event of the year to hype the Volt. So, I can live with Jolt the Volt, not just because it's catchy as hell, but I kind of like the little car :)

Actualy, Bob himself asked for Bay to let 'em use Volt because they just liked the car and what the character would turn into (electric-based character).

His on-shelf date is October 1st for the Deluxe, same as Arcee and Nightbeat's toys.

Are we assuming Jolt and Arcee are in the same wave? That's a long time between Wave 3's release of July. I could see the 3rd biker girls release date being that far ahead but wow. Color me confused.

The only two sources I can think of is either Wal-marts website or those little tags in front of the figures at Botcon. It just seems like a long time between waves. And I would assume either Arcee, Jolt or the Ice Cream Truck would either all be in wave 4 or split between waves 4 and 5. Now if wave 4 is the wave scheduled for October 1st that sucks. If wave 5 is the wave scheduled for October (with a wave in between july 1st and october 1st) I can understand.

Maybe I'm just impatient for those three in particular. :)

I am not impatient anymore, they gotta stagger the stuff, if all the toys were in the first wave, you wouldn't go hunting and buy other stuff when you don't find him. Not to mention getting up the funds for all of it.

    That and my wallet agrees.
