Alt mode looks great, but not quite sold on the robot yet.

Wish he had more screen time, maybe a fight against the other dual whipped Decepticon Rampage.

I saw the IMAX version of the movie yesterday, and even though in the movie there is never a close up of Jolt's face, I gotta say...the head on this mold looks kind of off to me. I too am bummed we never got to see him kick some ass, because he looked like a certified badass, however I like this toy.

    Exactly
the only part where he looked like being dangerous was when all the bots were stood around protecting Primes body and his hands were crackling, and that was only against the humans. I can't recall seeing him actually fight in the final battle at all which was a shame

Err, hence the spoiler tags :banghead:

Way too much extra junk on this guy. He looks like a poor knock off of the current line.

He looks cool. Too bad his screen time was minimal.

Bought the moment I see him. The one problem I had was whether the back kibble had to be folded down, but seeing as you can fold them up it looks like you can have them be movie accurate. The only problem is some paint is missing on the fake wheels on his legs, but that can be solved with some sharpie.

I'm not 100% sure about this, but i think the feet might be mistransformed in the video.

Out of the new Autobots, I think he had one of the cooler designs. Bought on sight.

Very nice reveiw, and bought on sight, or unless a sale was coming up, but bought none-the-less. :D
I wouldn't really say clamp claws, but it's a close description.

I can clearly see two (maybe three) fingers and a thumb, but there're upside down.

Let me explain; postition your hands as you would grip handle bars, say like on a bike. Now twist your hands upside down, so that your fingers are gripping the bottom of the handle bars with your thumbs gripping the top.

That's how Jolt's hands are postitioned, opened up in a claw like pose. Now I could be mistaking another black molded part for a "finger" on the lower "claw", but that's what it looks like to me. :2c:

First of all, nice review on Jolt, D Banks! :)

I'm not really digging the overall design, especially the legs. The rear windscreen (it seems) is covering his legs at the front. I think this is quite odd IMO. Plus the head is not that awesome.

But what i like about this figure is his transformation is rather simple for a movie bot! Also, it's a new and original method of transformation, whereby not the front or back of the car is the chest, which I like. :D  The electric whips are cool, and having his hands the same colour as the whips make it look like he has electricity flowing through the hands too, which I digg :)

I guess I have to see more pics of Jolt before I consider buying him. But for now I'll pass.

yes he does, they are like claws, no thumbs, three fingers-like claws, you cant really tell because his arm is black and so is his hands so its easy to miss.

Thank you so much for your comments and thoughts. I really like jolt and like most of you i hate that he had so little movie time, My overall thoughts on the toy is that some of his parts are kinda bulky like his legs but if you notice in the movie his legs are really thick so i guess its pretty movie accurate. Like i said his hands are like claws/clamps like some of you guys said. I love the color and the head design is a little unusual but i like it, the horns really make him look unique. His transformation is easy and still interesting at the same time. Thank you for watching my review!
