The speaking of slotflaps reminded me; how's the progress on this so far?

Okay, here's a couple of shots.



Ignore the top bit, I haven;t gotten the top half in this version back to how I had it the other day. Must've been some sleep-dep insight, but there's a better, more solid way to arrange the upper bit.

Here's another take, mostly just motorcycle mode flipped a bit with the stand as the foot.



All speculation, none of these are "official" limb modes. Just brainstorming with how much that stand looks like a foot. Hell, with my luck, Chromia will be an arm or something

Well now, those are some cool pcis peaugh. To bad she isn't more in scale with the rest of the deluxes. If they are made into legends they may end up being the first 3 from the movie lines I buy. And these ones will go with the HA bb and ironhide we are supposed to be getting.

 

Here's a couple of shots with TFTM Arcee:

 

She looks... interesting. ONe complaint is that her head doesn't look very female... not as much as '07 Arcee anyway. I never thought of using the stand as part of the combiner... it would definitely make the final form very solid and firm.

 

In some of the first high-res pics of her, the kickstand was placed on her back and gave a very solid looking bot mode that wasn't "floating", as it appears when the kickstand is attached to the bottom wheel. Is there any way to do that? I thought that, from the front, the bot mode looked fantastic. Let me see if I can find a picture of it.

EDIT- Is this officially possible?

 

I guess the stand is a good way to have a unicycle bot mode without having to rig it to have a toy-only "legs" mode like they did in Beast Machines.

 

As usual with these movie-line toys, the alt mode looks absolutely sweet, but the bod mode just is hideous to me. The stand/weapon holder itself is super sweet. I think this one looks better than Arcee.

 

Yeah, I thought I'd posted a confirmation on this already. I moved the stand to the back after I saw that pic and she's been displayed that way ever since.

 

Oh, I was only saying that I thought I'd posted it, clearly I hadn't.   I'll try to get some pics tomorrow.

Usually a fan of unorthodox TFs, but the way her torso folds up, just looks incomplete.
