According to the blurb he's supposed to be the rival for Sea Spray.

I like the Iron Man sportscar. Someone should kitbash that into Gobots Turbo.
Shouldn't that just be black suit spidey?
The head sculpt on that Iron Man looks goofy and the body is way too blocky. I was holding on buying the original Crossovers Iron Man because I like the colors on this one better but his sculpt is killing it for me.
Crankstart looks way cool. I like the colors a lot better then Dune Runner and Beachcomber's.
Crankstart would've been a good name if they ever want to do that Model T transformer.
It's an okay repaint, and I love the mold, but I'll probably not bother with it. I'm more likely to pick up the Beachcomber repaint.
So, what? Is that Hummer Punisher coming out or not? I'd want one, but I heard he's been cancelled.
Alright everyone, just admit it.
The ONLY reason anyone will buy the IronMan car is to turn him in to Rodimus/Hot Rod.
All horrible, the Iron Man in particular seems like a step backwards for the crossover's.
Seriously, I buy toys for the toys (which is the case for Iron Car here). I only think of custom ideas later, mainly because I lack the funds to do customs right now (I'd prefer to have the toy and the custom, not just the custom).
Even then, I'd try to think of a more creative custom. To make Iron Car into Roddy all one would need to do is to repaint him slightly and add a new head. Yippee.
Apparently not the ONLY reason.
I actually like all of these, even Iron Man, despite his incredibly silly looking face.
that's the ticket! or voyager Cybertron Hot Shot
So he must be a pretty evil scout to be a Voyager's enemy.
I love the Beachcomber/ mold, but the worried eye on Beachcomber doesn't translate well as evil nemesis to me.
It's not just that he was Beachcomber, but that even when it was Dune runner he looked worried not evil.
The Crossovers both look like throwbacks like someone else said, they look like they are new figures in a new line, not that they are the latest figures in an established line.
Ugh... I get the love for the RotF Scouts, but seriously how many repaints of these guys do we need? When they made the Cybertron Scouts we got repaints, but at least we only got one repaint per mold in most cases.
I have Dune Runner, I want the Beachcomber/Deadlift set because of the awesome paint job they made on the Dirt Boss mold. I do not want Crankstart, even if he is a Decepticon version of that mold. I'd rather have the name go to a brand new mold than another repaint.
I don't follow the Marvel Crossovers so I didn't bother looking at them and can't comment.
So I guess all I have to contribute is Crankstart = meh as far as mold useage goes. I have to give props to Hasbro on an excellent choice in color schemes though. Although I have to admit, there are far better molds in the RotF line as far as poseability goes for the Scouts. Dune Runner's arms I notice suffer slightly from a serious lack of good elbow articulation.
Here's hoping though that Hasbro continues to wow us with at least some new molds. Just please, PLEASE keep that Knock Out mold away from this line for the foreseeable future. We've got Four uses out of that mold in the line already and despite being a fun mold it's just not worth owning four of. (Trenchmouth just looks like Reverb without the writing on his sides, hence why I'm not getting that two pack.)
Yes, they look just cheap and rushed.
I'm beginning to think the entire ROTF scout line should be called Revenge of the repaints! I think and correct me if i am wrong, that every scout but Ejector and Scalpel and few newest ones have been repainted at least once and often multiple times.
Crankstart has at least a nice deco in vehicle mode, but I guess I will never buy this mold. XD
A scout being put up as an enemy of a voyager figure....
