Ever since I saw the Canon Bumblebee figure, I thought he would be cool as Cliffjumper. Same car as Bumblebee but with a different transformation. I really like how he turned out. Same treatment as usual. Flat black, dry rushed STEEL and aluminum. Not silver but steel. The red is a blend of whatever red paints I have left since I am almost out. I have to order more. Used some copper highlights and gun metal.

The robot parts could use some red to break up the sea of STEEL, but you said you need more. Very nice work on the vehicle mode, though, and the dry-brushed technique came out very good.

The robotparts look especially clean, but unless my eyes deceive me, there's still yellow on the insides of the carparts.

I like it, but i agree with the others who say that there's just too much steel.

It's needs to be broken up. ;)

More red on the robot parts, but in different places than Bumblebee. Cool color.

Thanks for the suggestions but I like him as is. Looking at the G1 cartoon, looks like CJ robot parts are grays and blacks and the car parts are red.

What sucks is all the unpainted yellows that stick out when photographed. Didn't notice them in hand. Oh well.

I fully understand. I learned this the hard way. Now I always prime the figure making sure to cover all the base plastic.

Yes but this is a movieformer,so many of his body parts are comprised ofcar parts like the lisence plate on his crotch ,so in essence it looks odd.

Otherwise, it's pretty nice, though I prefer themovie1 version you did because the silver stripes that hasbro had on his vehicle mode look far nice than just flat red.

Yes, but it's MY custom and I was looking at my first one and G1. Didn't want to copy myself. Also, the red came out so nice, I didn't want to add the stripes.
