Another entry for the Headmaster/Scout contest at Sector70.com. This one came in 3rd actually. I'd advise you guys to check out all the other entries since every one of 'em was awesome! He is a repainted Dunerunner which I bought to do a Classics Beachcomber but I felt was way too small. I used Krylon Fusion Brown and then drybrushed an acrylic rust color over it in some areas. The tan parts are Krylon Almondslightly washed with the same acrylic rust color. It doesn't seem to show up in the pics tho. The red is Krylon Fusion Red Pepper drybrushed with Testors Metallic Red. The whole figure was then detailed with silver scuff marks. I chose this mold mainly because of the twin guns on the roof. I saw those and Chromey just jumped out of him.
Damn - this totally works for Chromedome. I think that lil dunebuggy is gettin more fan-repaints than Acidstorm. Well done, though! ~Z
Totally digging that repaint and personally I love this figure got dune runner just looking for beach comber they look great next to tftm landmine and rotf armorhide
