I got a 3 for $14 deal today at Toys R Us for the ROTF deluxes. Picked up Bee and the Ghetto Twins.

I have to say, Bee is by far the BEST figure I have in the live movie line. The look, posability, complexity of transformation, little kibble, movie accuracy. There's just nothing to knock about it.

I love Barricade, but Bee blows him out of the water.

The only nitpick with my figure is the shoulder joints are very loose, but I can fix that up with krazy glue. And transforming into car mode is time consuming but it's worth the trouble.

Now if the cannon could transform into a hand, that would make it off the hook but I think it's perfect as is. For less than $5, what a steal.

He is actually my favorite movie Bee, too. I wish they would've just repainted him and remolded the car's body as well as his ab piece for DOTM. A lot of people hate his IMMA-STEAL-YO-SOUL eyes, but you have to admit: they are accurate.

He was a fun figure for sure, but he hardly was that accurate. i sold mine quite cheap when i got my hands on Battle Blade Bumblebee, but i could have kept him to display in alt mode i guess.

Yeh I have the Battle Blades Bumblebee as the 'definitive' Movie Bee.

I still say the DotM deluxe is the best-looking (and the most fun).

I've always hated the arm kibble on the RotF version.

I hate that Bumblebee. I prefer the original 07 one over that. No freaky eyes and permanent cannon hand.

BBBB is my favorite by far. Ever since I bought him I've had no desire to buy any other movie Bumblebee toys.

I was actually surprised just how much I liked the DotM deluxe, even after owning BBBB.

As you say, he's certainly a lot more fun to play with, regarding the transformation at least. Simplifies all the things that were needlessly complicated on BBBB, and is a bit more stable, with more parts clipping or snapping into place better.

DotM deluxe Bumblebee is a great figure, Bumblebee or otherwise. Just lacking that damn paint.

BBBB is my favorite Bayverse Bee. I got sick of seeing the regular Deluxe and Cannon one repainted.

He's even better when you put Battle Blades Bumblebee head on him.

Plus when you paint his toe caps. I don't know why they stopped doing that. I just color it in with a paint marker, grey sharpie (Or black, silver etc. depending what color the robot bits are.)

I'm starting to paint the eyes on mine so that they're light blue with a black pupil like RoTF Bumblebee. Don't like the skeletal-eyes look.

I've actually always had a soft spot for that mold. I love the way his doors are positioned in bot mode. That's one thing the other iterations of him never get right. However, I would say BBBB is definitely the definitive mold for him. It's almost perfect really.

the only thing with bbbb is that i wish they would use some of the space behind his head to put in his shoulder cannons even if they have to be clip ons

Wait, so that Toys (backwards)R Us ad wasn't a hilarious typo?! I know stores overstocked on the early ROTF stuff, but, holy crap!

Anyways, ROTF Bumblebee is the only version of the mold I own, and he is pretty cool, just not as cool as HFTD Bumblebee.

The one at Time Sq in NYC really has A LOT of ROTF stuff left. I ain't complaining because I got some nice deals. 2 for 1 and 3 for 1. Got voyager Defender Op for 11 bucks. Unfortunately it ain't so good.

I regret paying full retail for DOTM Sideswipe and Ratchet. SS in particular. (This was before TRU rolled out the ROTF stuff... I guess it must have bought these overstock merchandise from someone else later on)

True story. Picked up a Desert Brawl, Extra Skids (to hopefully customize), and a Cannon Bee for Toys for Tots.

    I call him Sumo Bee.

He seems like the shortest, widest BB toy we've gotten. The lack of paint doesn't help things either.

I'm surprised how much love he gets.
