The fake gray head as well as the hinges of the two solar panels also fold backswards with it. The way they rest on the back is dependant on his chest folding up. The hinge is there, not revealing the remaining blue disks means not using part of the transformation and also not finishing the 'backpack' properly.

 

And why would Long Haul be a triple changer?

 

Vehicle, Robot and combining mode.

 

I reckon he'd have said if it was part of devastator, besides which he says it's a ballast truck and that it has a big shovel/scoop attachment so it does sound like two vehicles, albeit two related vehicles which would be quite novel for triple changers.

 

A tipple changer like that would definitely be odd.
As most triple changers have an aerial and a ground/water mode.

 

Ha! proto-satelite soundwave and bumblebee are co-selling preview toys. So no additional autobot proto modes. These will likely be the first deluxes on the pegs for retail. This is likely a voyager box we're seeing them on.

Other than that, doctored pic of soundwave looks way to shiny.

huzzah. Another toyline to collect in completism for me, as for the spoiler "hints" apparently written by someone who types english as their fifth language. I'll just wait for pics before commenting.

 

Man, I'm outta room for these.. I mean tf1 prime is getting replaced with rotf prime, and maybe the new deluxe black car is a new barricade? If so then tf1 barricade will get relaced too, but I mean... Gauhhh, I just don't have room.. Damn. Gonna have to do som rearranging....

The triple changer sounds interesting. Might get it, might not. The Autobot plane also sounds interesting. I'm hoping that one's a new mold instead of a repaint, tbh. The Decepticon black car also sounds interesting. Would be cool to find out it's a new Deluxe mold for Barricade. If not it still sounds interesting. Can't wait to see pictures of these guys.

This toy of Soundwave is a Deluxe. There's a pretty good chance that we'll see a larger toy for him, as this is just his Cybertronian form, similar to the two preview figures for the first movie.

That would be interesting. Hopefully he's a new mold, instead of just an Incinerator repaint/retool. Would be awesome to get a TF that turns into that alt-mode (can't remember the name atm) that has actual hands.

 

Hope the autobot plane is an all new mold! Fully articulated, proportionate robot mode, et al. Maybe it is Air Raid? He is in Reign of Starscream but just in Cybertronian mode, I'd love to see his earth mode(which would be funny if it is actually Classics Starscream in G1 Air Raid colors)!

 

I'm thinking the same thing. I do hope Soundwave gets an earth mode in the movie. Hopefully he and BEE are both preview figures,as was stated in another post. Great stuff just the same! keep it comin'!  

 

I doubt they're preview figures, since this is from the side of a Voyager-class box, and they tend not to advertise for the preview figures once the actual main toyline hits.
