After picking up my Bludgeon, coming home and transforming him I saw his face (underwelming to say the least)

I decided I had to fix his face a bit, so i took apart his head (a bit tricky)

...and repainted the half that contained his eyes, and took a marker to his face.

also touched up the shin armor and chest armor a tiny bit.

The end (to me) justifies the means.

Okay, what I want to know is just how you managed to take the head apart? Did you take the whole figure apart to get to the hear?

    Looks great BTW!

    Nope.

turn his head either way as far to the side as it will allow, you will expose two small screws in the back of the head. use small phillips screw driver and be gentle while unscrewing. :)

I had to rotate the shoulders and arms back so i could unscrew easier.

Awesome! I just did that and it turned out great! I only wish there were a way to take the thighs apart to have the painted tank wheels show up in tank mode...

Couldn't you just use a similar coat of brown paint to paint the wheels on the other side? idk myself, as I don't usually do any paint changes to the figures. (because I'm too afraid)

Don't mean to hijack this topic (awesome fix BTW) but I just bought him and his ankle is assembled backwards?!?! is there a trick to getting his leg apart, I look at and the hinge holding the tank panel on seems one way! and his ankle is held to the leg with double sided one way pegs AHHH! could they have made this more difficult to take apart!!! HELP!

I guess I'll try that - I'm afraid of messing up the paint too. :p

black's a little too harsh for me, I would have used red for the orange parts and grey for the face. The eyes look good though!

    Awesome! I'll try that.

The good thing about the black on his face and body is that it's just dry erase marker :)

the eyes though is black pant pen
