Now more Beachcomberish. I've done this repaint before, but the first time was with a flat blue and a changed head. This time around I went with a metallic finish, ditched the armor parts, and tried to give him a visor in his head. I'm not a fan of the catcher mask and I think filling it in to give him his goggles helps. I may need to go back over it to make it more glass like. I still think the best head is the one Shinobitron made for his a while back. I took the top off to give him a roll cage. I like it, but I'm not entirely happy with the way it came out and it was much harder than I thought it was going to be. I was tryign to find a balance between making them look like the actual bars and keeping them sturdy enough not to snap off. I think they are a little big and I would make them smaller if I did it again. Decals were made by me.
That chrome looks sexy! Nice job on the blue as well. Looks like Beachcomber is getting some love this week.
