prety cool. I dont know if its enough to get me to re buy these molds. but atleast they are trying, and not just releasing the exact same molds.

officers were complaining about having to get out of their vehicles to do cavity searches. problem solved.

Barricade looks cool, I'll probably get him and keep him in car mode as I doubt the gimmick would look good in robot mode or even work for that matter. Does this feel like Premiums 2.0 to anyone else, basically they're just remolding the old molds.

I've got Barricade and Premium Bumblebee... not sure I really need another set of them (especially sense we've seen this BB doesn't have the battle mask). If this Barricade's paint job is better then my current one (I missed out on the Premium version of Barricade) then I might consider picking him up. As for BB... I do dig the new weapons, but I really can't stand the new head sculpt. If they ever release this guy with his battle mask I might bite... might.

Yes, save for the legs, oddly enough.

And that Barricade might be the same case: Some old parts, mostly new. There are the obvious new arms, but the entirel front section is new, he seems to have seats...Very interesting.

I hope those arms can stow inside the car, but with those pieces that stick up it doesn't seem likely.

I wish they would give Barricade his missile launchers to match Bumblebee.

Trivia: During the chase scene in the first movie, Barricade was to deploy drill-tip looking missile s from his hood. The props were built and fitted to the car, but the scene was cut for some reason. As far as I know, the only fictional depiction of them was in IDW's movie adaptation.

I think those are just Barricade's knee joints. The only change I can see with Barricade is they dropped Frenzy and replaced with with these plug-in grabber things that are actually in the wrong position - in the movie they came out of his headlights, not his grill.

Barricade's deco looks identical to the first release, missing 911 tampograph and all.

Wait, if Barricade's getting a toy, and if Sideways is getting a toy...then, that means...

THEY'RE NOT THE SAME BOT! (Yes, I just figured it out, don't say that this is old)

Anywho, glad to know that Barricade is coming back. The toy looks about the same as his first release, of course he comes with those metal claw/headlight thingies...Looks cool.

Yeah, but his weapons were never depicted in vehicle mode in any fiction that I know of, and I've not seen any pictures of the prop vehicle with added-on missiles. In 2007 there was a line of customisable Radio Shack RC cars that featured Bumblebee and Barricade. You could get upgrade packs for them, including lights, claws and missiles for Barricade, and a plasma cannon for BB's hood and missiles for his doors.

In the case of this ROTF Bumblebee toy, I think the missiles deployed in vehicle mode will be ROTF-specific.

Except that 70's Camaro 'Bee and Concept Camaro 'Bee also both got deluxe toys in the first line, and they're the same 'bot.

I stand by my belief that the Audi is Barricade.
