Yeah I bought the new two pack for ROTF rachet vs Grindor and these molds have alot of defects, mostly grindor. Rachet cannot fully complete transformation and his doors do not fit into the pegs for vehicle mode. Grindor has the worst buy, loose head, no spring in his chest for the auto-morph ability, loose arm panels that cover his hands in vehicle mode, his legs do not peg into his back, and the housing for scorponok is extremely loose.
if you have gotten this set, let me know if you have any problems.
    Cheers!

The arm panels on mine were so badly bent, I ended up returning him. Didn't bother getting him again despite how much I like the paint scheme.

Hmmmm...maybe it's a good thing I can't get the set (no CostCo stores around me for miles).

I have the original Blackout. A lot of people have had problems with the automorph in his chest/cockpit. I don't think it's spring loaded - it's just on gears, which are pretty flimsy; mine has never worked quite right, nor did my Evac remold that I ended up selling. The little panels that cover the hands on my Blackout aren't loose, but they aren't tight either. The legs never really pegged into the back very securely, but they do hold, and yeah, the cage in the back is on the loose side. So, if the original toy from the mold is showing these issues, Grindor, being the... 4th toy from this mold? (Blackout, Evac, Whirl, Grindor?) will probably show signs of mold degradation and will likely have the same issues, just worse. :(  Too bad, it's a great toy, even if it's a little small for the size class.

Consider yourself lucky, he's a shit toy. Pretty much every helicopter TF ever made is better than this thing (with the obvious exceptions of any that came with a Hot Shot figure).

My Grindor is perfectly fine, no problems with him that weren't in the original Blackout, Evac or the Whirl I own. All their cages were loose to begin with, its just a problem with the mold design.

Same goes for Ratchet, only problem I have with him is that one of the panels on the back of his leg likes to fall off if I'm too rough.
