Hi everyone! Since i released one Bike sister, I decided to release the second! here is Arcee!

I got to work on her around the time Chromia was being finished up. She was painted with my usual base coat.

Since she was pink, not red, it took some significant hours to finish.

    2 hours base coat
    1 hour silver coat
1 hour mixing and matching her pink as closest i could to the concept art.
    1 hour painting pink
1 hour blue details, eyes, blade
1 hour finishing details (lips, black parts, glossing)

Hope you like her. Added a poll to help see people's opinions of her.

    Don't forget to C&C!!!!!

So, for those of us who don't know, is this Arcee's Rotf toy repainted, or is this something scratchbuilt/modified/etc.?

It looks awesome. I wants one.

Your pics had somewhat improved. I like what I see and your stuffs are shinning from a slightly better photography.

By the way, what sort of red you use on her?

Try reducing the amount of light you're using. Back away from the TF, and use the zoom, make sure the camera focuses before you shoot it. See how that works, and repost the pics.

Nice, but I bought Arcee for her design, so the purchase wasn't affected by the paint. I would by this though too.

Not bad, looks kinda sloppy though. Might wanna clean that up. Might wanna try watering down the paint a little to avoid strokes and gloop.

    Keep it up!

Thank you everybody for the comments. I think i did improve her from a "decent but flawed" to a "decent, might buy if I have spare cash and can't find another figure."

@Hotwire. What's funny is I did all those things you said when I took these pics. Maybe my desklamp's light is too strong. I'll try to correct the problem with the lighting on my next project

She looks all metaly and faded...and has lipstick. 0_o
I like the retail one better, because I want my fembots (Especially the Exotic Bikerbots) to look like shiny, glossy, candy, not worn out, sandblasted war-machines :D
    Maybe I'm just robo-sexist. >.<

It's because your desk lamp is incandescent (err.. the yellow one) and you seem to be using only one of them. Try to use at least three lamps with fluorescent (white) bulbs, position them so that one is lighting the figure from the top, another on the right, and the third on the left. This eliminates shadows so that we can see what you did to the figure. :thumb
